That's what I mean. There's way too much plot in this movie. More than anyone would ever want.Psh'aw. No sane individual would be surprised to see two men buy tickets for this movie. Gays are definitely apart of the demographic. This is 2012, bro.
In other news, Battlemaster is possibly the most talented manipulator of all of us; congrats on your sting on Padawan Kenobi. (I assume that you baited him into Ush-bashing?)
Just saw 21 Jump Street, and I have to say its one of the funniest movies I have ever seen.'
Sadly, my little sister (not yet a teenager) watched it as well. Luckily, she did not understand any of the jokes.
But you guys (and gal) should watch it, you will laugh your ass off.
And BM, heres your cookie. o
Who's the bigger *****, the bitcher or the man who bitches about him?
gg, son. Dun be mad because my younger, quicker mind can see through all your cantankerous old man bullshit. 313

If you can watch the whole thing, you get a prize.

I lol'd at your post in general.
Now git offa mah yard, kid.
For Karen Traviss, the Jedi are hateful
incompetent death-deserving people fit
only to puff up her Mandalorians ; hence
they either convert, sit quietly and accept
really pathetic Hannibal Lectures while
being very impressed, or are curb-stomped.
Every. Time. A connection to The Force
which binds all things, shaves reaction
times, oxygenates blood more efficiently,
provides telekinetic abilities, enhances
strength, and gives battle precognition
sufficient to deflect blaster bolts into
enemies with the narrow blade of a
lightsaber is no match at all for the perfect
people with their colorful beskar'gam
armor! What's the best way to show how strong a
villain in the Star Wars Expanded Universe ?
Make him toss some Jedi around the room
with his eyes closed and one hand behind
his back. What's the best way to show how
serious the situation is? Kill a few Jedi. In
books, games, and comics, if a Jedi isn't a
protagonist, he's ****ed. Especially if he
happens to meet Sith , Mandalorians ,
Grievous, Cad Bane , or lamely-designed
aliens."
So true, TV Tropes. So true. laughcry

Oh, a cookie the exact size of your brain? Thank you! 😆
I've heard good things about Jump Street. I might view it when it comes out on DVD.
I didn't actually like him in X-Men First Class and thought he was overrated in this. His small role in Inglorious Basterds was his best work to date imo. Alos am I only person who thought the main female protagonist was really likable? Don't know why a lot of people say she was boring/poor protagonist.
"My wife and I were happy for 20 years--then we met." - Rodney Dangerfield
Ian was a lot better imo.
"The name "rum and cola" is actually a nickname. Do you know the real name of this drink? It's called the "Cuba Libre." The rum called for in this drink represents Cuba. This is a cocktail which is mixed the national specialties of Cuba and the United States, as a celebration of Cuba's independence. "Cuba Libre" means "Free Cuba." It tastes differently when you know the history."
Ian is a better Magneto, but Fassbender is a good actor all around. I suggest watching him in Centurion which is available on Netflix streaming.
As for the trio to be compared, I dunno. Alien was a good dark sci-fi horror film, with some good atmosphere, but it was very minimalist. It's been some time since I've seen it, but nothing about the movie, save for the chest burster scene, is truly iconic to me and stands out. Meanwhile, Blade Runner Director's Cut is itself an iconic movie. Not for great development or necessarily deep acting, but especially for its atmosphere. It successfully blends dystopian moods of Neuromancer, the novel it was based on, and more while adding its own film noir touch. In truth, some parts of the movie are so odd they'd be unforgivable in another film. Deckard is the luckiest and least proficiency bounty hunter since Boba Fett, going strictly by his on-screen abilities. But the overtones and theme behind the movie stands out regardless. Rutger Hauer's Roy Batty too is a memorable role.
Meanwhile, Prometheus successfully captures the 80s sci fi intent - that of a depressing and grim future as opposed to a wonderful one, and this was the intent behind the movie all along. The atmosphere and the questions it provokes make it a strong movie. Fassbender's android was exceptional, and Noomi's Shaw was a good kick ass protagonist.
