"Dominating" works. After all, Ragnos only dominated a small empire, and Nihilus merely took over a sith empire and didn't last for long either.Vitiate was around longer and did more actual dominating.
Didn't see this on the previous page, so I apologize for the gratuitous double post. Within the context of the sentence, the "domination" clearly refers to Vitiate's ability to psychically ensnare his allies and enemies, not his political or military achievements.

That makes sense. I can't think of another sith who so actively uses his powers for domination/corrupting others.
Would you guys tell me where this link leads for you?

It's supposed to lead to an avengers/Justice league discussion, but with the double http I get redirected to the Sheldon museum of Art, which is geographically bizarre (and unsettling!). This has got to be an artifact of google's tailored advertizements, or malware.
Using a proxy just sends me back to the proxy homepage.

citation needed?Or is the back to the old idea where the Planetbuster drain is somehow equivalent to every other drain? Because that's been shot down, iirc
I was referring to Vitiate's similar ability to leech life on a planetary scale, with exceptionally potent aftereffects. When the Exile lands on Nathema, she notes that the "void" left by Vitiate is greater than any she's ever felt. Coming from the survivor of Malachor V, that's quite an accolade.
Not to mention the fact that, unlike Nihilus, Vitiate is known to eventually have achieved the ability to apply the technique on a galactic scale.

He was an existential threat to the Force, after all,
Upon further reflection, I'm extremely skeptical of this appellation. Canonically, threats to the Force itself have been identified in the form of Plagueis & Sidious and very arguably Abeloth and the Son from Mortis. Where is Nihilus identified as such?
