The Battle Bar, Our Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy

Well, as it stands, both Vitiate and Abeloth are pretty ineffective. The last baddie of note was Nom Anor and the Vong.

Conquering half the galaxy = ineffective?

Darth Jadus is a pretty great villain.

Definitely, when one considers how much time, resources, and personal power he had at his disposal to accomplish his task. Not to mention how relatively quickly he's dethroned.

Who's Darth Jadus?

The whole 'all-powerful villain' thing makes for a boring opponent in terms of reading a book or playing a game. It'd be nice if they stopped trying to top everything that comes before. It makes the films look droll (which they shouldn't).

Eh, I wouldn't worry about that. They never actually manage to follow through with it. As it stands, Sidious remains the indisputable king of the mountain.

Vader, on the other hand...

He's from Swtor. He's incredibly intimidating, cruel and insane.

He's also freaking massive. Dude makes Malak look like Strawberry Shortcake.

He also avoids the 'Most Uberest Sith EVAR' thing. People talk about how powerful he is, but you're a Non-Force Sensitive so any Sith is treated like a hard fight.

Ah, Malak, one of my favorites. He's like Tarkin with Force powers: a man whose solution to any problem is to blow it up.

Gotta love it.

Yea, he's strong, but doesn't have a lot of feats, so we aren't necessarily talking uber on an absolute scale. He could be like Savage Oppress with more skill, maybe, or perhaps even near Dooku level, but definitely sub the top ranks.

Considering I (an imperial agent) beat him 3 times in a row he can't be that good. 😄

No, but he's a villain who's more intimidating through presence, resources and competence than sheer power. Also by being utterly, calmly, butt**** insane. But it's nice that there was a bit more thought put into him than just power. I just kind of wish he'd stayed around a bit more. The Star Cabal never really wow'ed me as villains.

After crazy amounts of remedial math homework (if I see span {u, v} one more time I will literally die), I finally managed to do a bit of work on my econ project. I followed this right up until the second integral.

And I'm beginning to like Macro, which feels dirty in the same way that admitting to liking Babylon V* feels dirty, after a lifetime of Star Trek.

*Note: I have not seen any Babylon V.

Edit: Oh, yeah, ToR logic. You can't use that here. We only accept Clone Wars logic.

Taking one semester of Econ was required to graduate from High School.

My Econ teacher spent the majority of the semester telling us that he and the rest of his baby boomer generation are basically responsible for everything that's wrong with the economy today and that our generation is ****ed as a result and that when he was in High School all the kids his age sat around smoking pot all day and our lives are a lot tougher.

idk. Didn't really have much interest in Economics after that. To me, the simplified definition for Economics seems to be "The mathematical reason for why some people are really rich and others are really poor". It's the same reason I don't have much interest in history, informally known as "the reason why the World sucks and you should hate humanity."

Malak is IIRC two meters tall, making him the second tallest Sith Lord I know of (The tallest is a tie between Darth Nihilus and Darth Vader, IIRC they were like a little more than an inch taller).

Is this Darth Jadus like what, the Gregor Clegane of Sith Lords? He'd have to be well over seven feet to dwarf Darth Malak.

Sith recruit based on height.

That would explain why we have never seen a member of Yoda's race as a Sith, and why Yoda is such an awesome Jedi.

I've been reading articles on google about what exactly would happen if you put a living animal inside a microwave and turn it on. It's really interesting stuff, though it's funny how you can feel like a dirtbag just for reading about a heinous act, even if you have no intention of performing it yourself.

It was a joke, but he's pretty damn tall. At least as tall as Malak imo.
