Saw and loved the movie with Louis Jourdan. It's a cult classic and Jourdan is one of my favorite actors.

Wow I actually had no idea there ever had been a movie adaptation lol.

And a sequel.

They're both cheesy as hell, but it's a guilty pleasure.

So I can't appeal to the majority but I have to take your word for it that it sucked? Lol
Well, you can make an appeal to majority if you want. You'd just look silly, since the majority opinion is that the movie sucked.

Only for critics. It has a 7.7 on IMDB and a 77% audience rating on RT.

56% of critics liking the movie means most of them disliked it?

That... sure is how percentages work huh.

Interestingly enough the movie seems to have been released before Alan Moore started working on the series, so it wasn't an adaptation of his work or anything.

77% isn't that great, for ratings. That's pretty average.

Neph doesn't know what appeal to majority means. Surprise surprise.

Never said it was great. But it sure as hell is a majority.

😂

Tell him what you said before the two edits bro. 😖hifty:

Now I will always wonder.

I didn't say anything about the appeal to majority. I questioned how a percentage of over 50 giving the movie positive reviews equates to a majority hating the movie in your eyes.

Read the conversation.

I did. You're still wrong.

Okay, so you don't know what an appeal to majority is, and you lack reading comprehension. Aren't you a librarian aide at a school, or something? Who did you have to blow to get the job?

Now you're just lying to yourself. Even at the very worst (56%) on Rotten Tomatoes, that's more than the majority, unless you're just that bad at math. It's a phenomenal 7.7 on IMDB so please stop deluding yourself.

My god, now you're just embarrassing yourself. Nobody said anything about what you're referring, yet you continue to have conversations in your head, and then decide to refute those imaginary conversations in posts. Just stop it, it's sad.

You're playing a clever game with your edits Blax, but let it be known that I am on to you. You know exactly what I'm talking about *****.

I genuinely have no idea what you're talking about.

Who is Mike Honcho a sock of?

No?

I don't lack reading comprehension. Here's the ****ing conversation:

Him: 'Most people think Costner and Crowe are great actors.'

You: 'Your Appeal to Majority fails since its only at 56% on rotten tomatoes.'

Him: 'So I can't appeal to majority?'

You: 'You could but you'd look stupid since "the majority opinion is that the movie sucked."'

Me: 'I say, I happened to check the thread while pumping some iron and banging YOUR MOM, but it appears to that you just said that the majority of people disliked the movie. However, since Man of Steel is at 56% on rotten tomatoes, as you yourself posted, that seems to not be true. That would indicate that 56%, which is actual a majority of people (ma·jor·i·ty 1. the greater part or number; the number larger than half the total (opposed to minority ): the majority of the population. ), actually liked the movie and gave it a positive review.

You: Yeah? Well FVCK YOU! I R DUMBO WEENIE!
