Don't get me wrong, I like national Parks and don't think we should just begin saying "**** the environment". But ultimately, environmental issues aren't all that important to me.
Eh, Economy>>>>>>>>>>>Environment. Like im for drilling at home and against most environmental protection laws as they hurt Business and jobs. But i'm for national parks, as long as theres some drilling/mining involved.

I've read contradictory reports from a number of sources about the prevalence of gun crimes in areas with higher numbers of privately owned and registered guns.
Guns are fine. Though I do question the prudence in allowing private citizens to own military-grade weapons like... missile launchers or whatnot.
Since economics and politics is the topic of the day, thoughts on David Wong's recent article? Most of the commenters seem to disagree with it.
I do like his line of "You have to compare the world to the world, not to your imagination."
"False dichotomies all over the article"
That is the best comment. I made it through the first two and a half entries. But then I gave up. This is... Not a great piece of work. I will have a laptop to Oreos so I will do my best to elaborate (hint: it has to do with the fact that even though you can compare summer heat to the temperature of the sun, the summer is still hot. So poverty is still terrible even for a person who lives better than the pharaoh.)
