Korra is gutter trash.

Hahahahaha!

No. (to Temp and Neme)

Korra was pretty awesome though.

^ Is that for me or Nemebro?

Both.

Then I refuse to watch it.

Unalaq was the worst villain in the show's run, while Vaatu was pretty cool and threatening. Varrick was freaking hilarious though, easily the funniest bad guy I've seen in ages.

How about Liqmaibalz?

You should still watch it. Or at least epiosides 7+8 which are in the running for the best episodes in the shows history imo.

First Avatar lore, **** yes!

I wonder when Nephthys will start watching good shows.

I am midway through the second season of Angel. Now that right thurr is a good show.

^ My very favorite. ^_^

NemeBro, I thought you've watched Angel b4

I quit watching them after Breaking Bad ended.

Korra season 2 was pretty good though, warts and all.

My gf is/was obsessed with BB. Never watched an episode of it or GOT.

Breaking Bad was pretty amazing. I'll say in all honesty that it was one of the best things I've ever seen in all media. :T

Anyway, I'm serious in that even if you don't watch Korra, you should still watch the Avatar Wan episodes. ****ing incredible imo.

Nah, tbh I jumped in on the Whedonverse (I want to kill myself) pretty late. Friend of mine started with Buffy, then we watched Firefly together, and season 1 of Angel. I finished Buffy on my own ages ago, and am only just now getting around to finishing Angel.

It's better than Buffy to a considerable degree. I've always liked Angel (The character) more than Buffy (The character), and the show doesn't rely on as much protagonist centered morality bullshit. When Angel does morally questionable shit (Like what happened with his two former b!tches and Holland Manners), it is treated as morally questionable, the show does not bend backwards to make Angel look good.

Which is good.

Buffy was my first TV love, but Angel is definitely the superior show imo. Funnier, darker, more epic, better plotted, and a more compelling premise.

It's funny you mention Holland Manners, because he's one of my favorite TV Big Bads. What do you think of him?

Korra should have starred Bolin and Asami.

I think Holland died far too soon for a villain of such caliber. In some ways he reminded me of Mayor Wilkins, but there was an intimidating factor present because, unlike Wilkins, it was hard to tell how much of Holland's affability was genuine or not. It is a shame that such a Magnificent Bastard made such a lolcow mistake that led to his death.

We seem to be on the same page. Wilkins was legitimately affable but Holland's true persona was really ambiguous. And he was pretty scary for an old lawyer. He's my part of my Unholy Trinity of Whedonverse Big Bads, alongside Angelus and The Operative.

How far in are you in season two?

Bolin got to be pretty damn cool in the last few episodes.

Unf! :bites lip:
