Looks like TFU is Not canon. And the 5th season of TCW is canon.

Strange he said that about the 5th season of TCW and not just the whole series.

Edit- Pablo Hidalgo is works with the Lucasfilm story group. And Shey Tapani was the first to share this in the SWEU&LIT section.

Indeed. The implication is also that Clone Wars novels are possibly retconned whenever they come into conflict with the TV series or just ignored altogether.

Which is sad, because some of the best EU is in that era.

I don't suppose they are going to refund money wasted on books they have now retconned?

If you enjoyed the books is it really a waste? It's not like your university has decided that all of your English lit classes are wrong because the books were non canon.

Yeah, just like the makers of The Highlander 2 refunded everyone when the film was ignored entirely.

Every movie aside the first highlander was worthless.

Superman Returns ignored Superman 3 and Superman 4. That kind of stuff happens. Besides we don't even know yet how much will be rendered non-canon. I doubt they will retcon every piece of the EU. TFU though seems to be the first casualty.

It is a rather simple game to play.

Simple isn't bad. Is not the saying 'less is more?' TFU was pure fun. It was letting you go crazy with Force Powers like you've always fantasised about. Whats so bad about that?

I would have enjoyed TFU had it been more about customization or something, like Jedi Academy. Instead, it was a contained story which I didn't feel drawn towards, with characters I didn't care about, and it was horribly boring to play after the first hour. If I want to use ridiculous Force powers, I will mod Jedi Academy or KotOR, or play TOR.

That sounds like its not the games fault, you just didn't like the genre. It had just as much customisation as Jedi Academy though. So idk what your problem was.

Not really. JA was moddable, and the default had a lot of options available. TFU basically has "Starkiller with a different appearance/skin, but same moveset, etc." The backwards saber thing also annoyed me to no end.

So idk what your problem was.
