I don't see much point, really. If a place doesn't want one, well, there's tons of other places that do.

Generally, the game of making socks/getting them banned/yadda yadda looks like it prevents getting anything useful done anyway.

My goal a while back was to just continue to cause trouble. Not any longer. I've greatly altered the way I act, unless I'm being facetious or using profanity just to be "jokey," so to speak.

I'm fairly laid back anyway. I'm not here to cause trouble anymore like I was before so it is what it is.

Ah, the board misses that now? Back when the staff was active in '05 when I was posting frequently, everyone hated their presence.

Now, their presence is minuscule and some members are missing that.

I suppose most members want a balance but sometimes you seemingly cannot win, can you?

I suppose one could argue this place has never been policed. Not optimally, anyway.

I don't wish for Ush to moderate this place again. He frequently abused his powers to the point where I had to create a few hundred socks and he just gave up. He's chilled out over the last few months but that was pretty bad.

Pretty much the case. It was either sporadic, heavy handed modding or none at all. Given Ush and Rex's almost total emphasis on their RP and the former's self professed relative lack of time, it falls to globals and using the report button if anything goes wrong.

But then again, they've only been needed once in recent memory.
