The Battle Bar, Our Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy

Yeah. I've got Rome: TW, and Medieval II: TW, along with the expansion sets for both. Very cool stuff, although Medieval II doesn't perform as well as I'd like on my laptop.

The only strategy game for me is Warcraft 3. Yeah, it's UBWR BADASS.

Is Age of Empires any good?

I didn't really like it. But if you like Warcraft and Starcraft, it's probably up your alley.

AoE III is good. But Empire: Total War is going to be so much better, even though I'm only really interested in pre-Renaissance military history. Asia got pretty boring after guns came up and elephants and bows went out, and so did Europe. The Ottoman pirates, however, had some gnarly outfits, and I'm definitely a fan of their kind and their exploits. Pirates kick ass.

Yeah, they do, but they should make a strategy games about ninjas. Or samurais. Or feudal Japan or w/e. Now, THAT rocks.

I recommend Command and Conquer: Tiberium Wars, as well, if you're into sci-fi stuff.

Edit: Yeah, Faunus, I just remembered. If you're into pirates and stuff, try Sid Meier's Pirates. It friggin' kicks ass.

I never much cared for AoE. I played Galactic Battlegrounds first and was very disapointed to be playing with the same engine again (though AoE came first).

They're making a sequel to assassin's creed? Nice, though I don't own any of the next-gen platforms, and my computer sucks, so I can't play the really good games. 🙁

Wurd. I specialize in the Ancient Mediterranean and Classical warfare. Guns make shiite boring.

I liked battle for middle earth II, but thats just me ^.^ Civilization: call to power(old) and Heritage of kings the settlers are good too if you arent obsessed with military strength (they make you go insane over all of these civilian technlologies)

Nah, I love BFME also. My all-time favorite is Starcraft though.

BFME is awesome. The second one's even better, thanks to those giants. I've never tried the expansion, and I've never even seen SC.

Actually, they've upped their graphics, and if you really dont mind sacrificing graphics for an expansive world, its not too bad.... especially when your video card ****ing blows up.

They're two entirely different genre of games, and Runescape still is and always has been gay.

If you want a cool, cheap, and quality MMO, try Guild Wars. It's pretty awesome, and it's not addictive (WoW)/Stupid (Runescape)/Mentally harmful (Maplestory... god, the horror). It doesn't cost a load of money, either, and there's no online fee.

If that's yo thing, go for it. It's infinitely superior to Run Escape.
