Just to bring my point to you stealth since it was part of what you disagreed with, as I said to psmith I personally think any innocent deaths it too many so the low numbers don't matter to me. That said like I agreed if all of those go away I'd be fine with it. Just I don't think we are at the point where everyone innocent has been let go/won't be convicted.

Okay, if innocent people die, it is not allowed.
Therefore, no one can drive, since it allows innocent people to die at a rate exponentially higher than executions in the last 20 years total.

That's by choice. It's not the same thing as being forced into a situation where you are killed. The danger inherent in the world isn't comparable to me as being killed for a crime you didn't do. Accidents happen and it sucks but the accident of a car crash isn't the same as being purposefully executed. Just how I see it, and will see it until we fully get to a better place. If it is fully concrete i'm ok with it as I said.

I think our prisons do have problems with such things but I already addressed that to me a criminal killing you isn't the same as the state killing you. It's indirect responsibility vs direct ones.

Innocent deaths due to something legally mandated.
One is something we all know carries risk, and the government (and companies, to be fair) try to limit that through regulations, traffic laws, and technology. The other is something specifically designed to kill people, but only those who we really think deserve it. And that's the one where innocent people die due to the specifically homicidal actions of another(s)--in this case, the justice system.
If cars were specifically meant to kill people, but only the ones we really think deserve it, then we'd all have a problem with their tendency to kill innocent people.
The intention as well as the result, matter.

To be fair, there's like a bajillion cars and not a bajillion executions so the death by car accident rate will be higher than the death by I-was-innocent-and-go-uber-pwned-by-injection rate.
