Beefy can be reasonable and accept when he's wrong about things. Quan is an utter fanboy who admits to ignoring reality and mocks the very concept of being reasonable about things.

Also Beefy is a smarter than Quan.

As NemeBro points out, though, much of Quan's behavior comes from trolling and, I think, playing the Devil's advocate in the extreme.
