Hey Nephthys, this douchebag seems to agree with you.
"The games industry does not allow videogames to evolve into a mature medium out of creative opportunism. Not being recognized as an art form gives game creators a certain amount of freedom that they would not have if they were to take up their responsibility as authors. Today, game developers don't need to be concerned with the message that their game is sending to its audience. They can simply continue playing with technology and hide behind the fact that their only purpose is fun entertainment."

Maybe this explains why I haven't ever enjoyed a game as much as I did KotOR 1 and 2. The industry has refused to continue writing stories worth hearing. (Quicktime events in TFU don't qualify as "story"😉

I just finished playing ME1 and ME2 and I gotta agree, the ME games are some of the best I've ever played (aside from ME3 finish).
I don't get the anger over the ending, did everyone seriously expect a happy ending? I knew from the get go how it was going to end.
On another note, Interstellar was goddamn epic.
Is that good? from what I've seen, it seems like a copy of Gravity imo

No, it was basically Gravity but GOOD. I was pretty mesmerized. Gravity sucked. This did not.
Gravity was great dude, I love films that can entertain me, my father and my impatient preteen sister with just dialogue and visuals.
And as far as ME3 is concerned, we did not get a canon ending, which pissed me off. Also, Bioware made no real attempt to debunk Indoctrination Theory.
Oh come on! Did no one expect shep to sacrifice him/herself for the good of humanity? And they probably gave No canon ending to make way for a future follow up series to the events of an Mass effect games which takes into account the players choices from Shepard trilogy. The indoctrination theory has some merit, but it's debunked by the Leviathan DLC as the Leviathan can sense indoctrinated presence(s) and so can the Prothean VI, yet neither of those mentions that Shepard is indoctrinated - and this after the fact that Shepard found all those reaper relics. 😬

People expected a good ending that incorporated the choices we made over the games and reflected the care you'd put into the game. Instead, pick a colour and **** off.
The only choice from that start of the trilogy was to destroy the reapers. 😬 bioware gave us three different choices and after the outrage, they gave us the extended cut dlc which elaborated on the choice you made.
Like Jennifer hale said "you try creating this massive storyline with thousands of characters and millions of co-authors(us) and you try to make an ending to that. Good luck!" At least bioware acknowledged their **** up and gave us the Extended cut and the Citadel dlc.
