That was the worst play call in the history of football. I couldn't believe the stupidity of Pete Carroll. Not that the big talking Seahawks defense did anything better tonight. Instead of playing the same defensive scheme they played against Denver last year, they decided to let the Patriots receivers have all the room in the world. And they still should have won on the 1 yard line. WHO DOES NOT RUN THE BALL IN FROM THE 1?!
so i downloaded Battle of Five armies and am pretty unimpressed so far. The battle of the Wise against the wraiths was badass, but watching Galadriel flop around was pretty lame. And the part where she turns into a drowned rat while banishing Sauron shows that they completely missed the point. Like, the reason she looked like death in Fellowship of the Ring was that the ring basically wrecked her. she should not look like a ghoul when the ring is not in her face.
many of the other fights seem like... tokens of conflict. Plus, when bard had the arrow on his kid's shoulder, i was pretty sure the string was gonna cut his throat. it was pretty bad. 🙁
now we see Thranduil the pie maker get genocidal. maybe.
