Glad to see you're sensitive about this. I never get tired of making fun of grown ups who believe in angels. 😉

And I never get tired of making fun of ignorant children that have an elementary understanding of religion while adhering to the belief in people 😂

1% decrease a year? Not bad.
Slow but steady. At this rate, the U.S. will be Christian-free in my lifetime.

The equal increase in non-religious is promising. I figured maybe the decline in Christian percentage would be due to an increase in Muslim or other immigrants. But losing 7% of Christians for a 7% increase in non-religious is a good trade.

So just because I refuse to have opinions based on belief, you jump to this conclusion?

Indeed.

I can joke with the rest of them, but I take my religion pretty seriously. In that I don't particularly like being called childlike simply for my religious beliefs. Broad brushstrokes, and all that.

No, the fact that the first word that came to your mind was "angels", is why I jumped to this perfectly logical conclusion.

That's ok, the self proclaimed enlightened are a cute bunch.

Well you've been a major a**hole in these forums for the last couple of months. I actually respect you for it. This is a disappointing revelation tbh.

Then that proves you're a child. Real adults don't mind having their way of life condescended to. Shame on you for not rolling over and letting an insult go unmolested. Shame.

Molested.

That's one of the major icons of your mythology. Don't tell me you see allegory and a deeper meaning in it instead of taking it literally. 😬

Interesting question. If you take issue with the way your life is condescended to because it's by someone you deem a "lesser" being, are you still a child?

Oh that's so cute. My "mythology". Actually it's not lol. But at least you're consistently ignorant🙂

Almost every religion consists of philosophical and mythological dynamics buddy. That includes Christianity as well.

Yup. I'm not Christian though. Keep trying.

Well you keep on ruining the fun.

What is your religion then? Just out of curiosity(I won't bash it).

I'm Jewish but it's not really about a belief in angels, or allah or whatever. It's the belief in something bigger than yourself. And even mine isn't 100%, but enough. I always find it arrogant when people believe we're all there is. But that's an argument for another time.

Also this shit is surprising.

And do you completely believe in everything in this religion?

No, but I just said that. That doesn't make it any more or less factual. Perhaps I'm missing something that others are not, perhaps I'm not destined for "faith", who knows? I do believe in a higher power/God/whatever you want to call it.

I don't have a problem with that. However, I can't say the same about Jews who actually think they're the chosen people who have a right to dominate other races. Shit like that gives me brain damage.

Every religion thinks they're the chosen one, we're the only ones who don't actually try to dominate anyone.

Not really, and I won't go into politics in a Star Wars Forum.

The Christians had their Crusade, the Muslims are having theirs, and we haven't had one.
