If he wins, he's definitely close to Brady. He's changed the game more than any other quarterback today, perhaps any ever. He's an offensive coordinator who can throw a football. His sheer knowledge and talent is just that incredible. It's why even though he exists in a pass happy era, he stand above all the quarterbacks statistically, (except Rodgers, who hasn't exactly hit 39 yet.) 2 superbowls is enough of a supplement to that to put him with Brady imo.

He's great but Brady has been to 6 sbowl son and won four. Peyton's regular season numbers were awful this year. Prior to this season he had a losing postseason record. He's went into the postseason the number one seed many times and lost in the first game in the postseason.

He can't move and he was utterly destroyed by the Seahawks in the sbowl two years ago and he had the number one offense. Brady barely lost this year against the Broncos who had the number one defense.
I hate Brady but he destroys Peyton. It isn't close.

Cool. And I don't disagree that as of right now, Tom Brady is "greater." But check out this link and scroll down to the #1 entry, the great Peyton Manning. I don't personally believe Peyton is the #1 QB ever, but to me the likes of him and Aaron Rodgers are the best quarterbacks to play the game. Efficiency. Ability to read the defense. Passing accuracy. Etc. There's a reason he has 2 more MVP's than any other player in the history of this game. There's a reason that he stands above Favre, or Brady, or Brees, or Rodgers, or Marino, in terms of statistical and individual accomplishments across the board, sans maybe Rodgers. If he puts up a SB MVP caliber performance against the Panthers, wins, and walks off into the sunset John Elway style? Heh.

Peytonisnt even the number two guy or even close to it. Stats aren't as important to me as being clutch in t he biggest games. Peyton is consistently amazing until the postseason starts. That's why he won't even crack the top three IMO.
