Tbf, I kinda agree that they're better off not having been made by the Children, I'm just saying it's not necessarily an avenue the books aren't also going down.

It's always been hard for me to tell, though, what side everyone's on in the whole Great Other vs Red God, since im of the opinion that every religion is worshipping the same Gods, even if they have different names

Also what do you think of the Kingsmoot Sel? I think leaving out the Dragon Horn and Victarion is pretty shit. Euron pretty much goes against being an iron born.

I'll preface this by saying I'm not a book purist, I enjoy changes to the show which keep GoT fresh for those who have been fans for over a decade.

I'm alright leaving Victarion out, the show seems too bloated with characters as it is, and if they can condense it all into Euron then more power to them. Same with the Dragon Horn, Euron never won it with blood so as far as I'm concerned the plot line will never come to fruition, so why put it in.

So that simplification I can get on board with. Oversimplification I can't, and that's that happened with the Kingsmoot IMHO. Euron openly admitting to killing Balon? And the Iron Born do nothing? That's not the iron born we know from the books, the show makes them out to be nothing more than uneducated barbarians, and it annoys me.

I'm still hoping for Stoneheart, too.

What I miss about the Dragon Horn is the Iron Born philosophy. Right now Euron is like "I'm gona give ships for Dany to marry me and help her conquer Westeros". That's totally not int line with "We do not sow".
With the horn it would be like "I'm gona take her dragons, force her to be my wife, take her army, and conquer Westeros for myself".

Also the reason I miss Victarion is because he is ****ing cool with his Kraken armor and his charred hand. But I guess they can shift that to Euron. Not sure how important the tension between them will be in the coming books...

So much game of thrones spoilers. Is Sean Bean still around? I doubt it, but I had to ask.

I finish plenty of shows. I'm just hoping to boycott the entertainment industry for constantly killing off Sean Bean. This is just sad. 🙁
