You're talking about a character who was introduced for his as a bad ass Sith Lord with Fighting SKILLS in the actual films. Now I appreciate how TCW showed he was trained in all the ways of the Sith- politics, manipulation e.t.c.

But where has Rebels taken him? His plans suck, he's gained nothing. He's looking like a fool attempting to cheap shot Kanan all the time and failing. So All his Skills, Physical and Mental are being downgraded.

And FYI, Joker gets beaten and embarrassed by Batman. I.e. Someone Noteworthy. But guess what, he's known for brutally beating some of Batman's sidekicks.

But yeah, Maul's focus has a character has changed, and evidently his plan now is to corrupt Ezra and eliminate Kanan. Which in so far is going to badly. 👆

On the other hand on the basis of a single and exceptional loss (that left Kanan blinded regardless) and an event we don't yet know the details of (yet nonetheless involved Maul capturing half their crew), I'd say you are grossly exaggerating the extent to which Maul has been "degraded" lol.

Finally as I recall Maul kicked the shit out of the Inquisitors, and has only been beaten by Oneness Kanan, after blinding him. I'd say he's doing alright. On the other hand Ezra kicked him tho... mmm

I really have got to address this at some point...or make a Gungan RT, probably both. They aren't as bad as everyone thinks and that instance had circumstances anyway.
