Tom or Aaron for MVP?
Actually, I'm going to be a little pissed if Brady ends up winning it. I don't care how ****ing fantastic you play, you cannot win the MVP if you miss the first four games of the season, especially if your team went 3-1 in that span.
It's either Ryan or Rodgers, and I'd say--being the unbiased Packer fan I am--it should go to Rodgers.
As opposed to what everyone thinks, Rodgers played very good football during those four consecutive losses. During that span, he lead the team in rushing yards, was top 3 in passing TDs and maintained a 100+ QBR.
Also, very few QBs have posted two or more seasons with 40+ passing TDs.
He has 44 total TDs, out of the total 51 Green Bay scored in the season.
Ryan's Falcons have a top 3 WR in Julio Jones along with one of the best backs in the NFL in Devonta Freeman. Rodgers has posted those incredible numbers with an improvised running game using a WR as its main weapon and using his skills to extend plays whenever WRs aren't open, which has been the case on a regular basis for this Packers team during the 2016 and the 2015 seasons (although it's fair to point out that the WRs indeed played much better in 2016).
Rodgers should unquestionably win the MVP this year, imho.
