BH's story is awesome. Sure, not very relevant or impactful, but more entertaining than JK, JC and definitely less retarded than SI.
.
I haven't gone past Chapter 2 of Smuggler's story so I don't know about that. Trooper doesn't have a bad story, it's just not nearly as good or entertaining as IA's. Entertaining =/= good story, tho.

The story, or rather the driving factor of a story, is not the problem, and rarely does it ever make or break anything in the grand scheme. What matters is who's telling the story. The BH is boring as holy ****, and just as revolting. All the crew mates are equally boring and do equally dull things, culminating in an exciting finale, that was then ruined by the BH opening their mouth yet again.
Eh, you're right, but when playing Knight or Consular you do feel like your actions are more relevant and have a bigger impact overall. Agent, too. Even if it's not extremely significant in relation to the grand scheme of things.
I personally loved the BH story, and didn't find it boring at all. I quite enjoy playing through it. His voice actor is badass, as well. To each his own.
Nonsense. A good story needs to be entertaining. It needs to have interesting characters, a well rounded plot, and a protagonist worthy of it.
I mean that it can be an entertaining playthru without being very good. It can have certain factors and characteristics that make it enjoyable and entertaining, as in, it's fun, but without necessarily having an outstanding or deep story. That's BH to me.
Imperial Agent? Best story in the game, nearly universally seen as, because it has an interesting protagonist, a good supporting cast, a good villain, and a goal worth reaching. Pretty much no other story in the game, aside from the Sith Warrior, has all those things. Thus those stories suffer. If you're idea of a good story is just the idea of a good story, you're wasting your time actually playing and watching it. Might as well just imagine whatever you want. It'd probably be better in the end. The trooper has nearly none of those thing, which is why it's the worst story in game. The idea of a trooper fighting for the Republic behind the scenes? That's a good idea. The execution, not so much.
Yeah, without a doubt the best stories in the game are the Agent and the Warrior.
What's your ranking of SWTOR stories from best to worst?

Interesting order. Not sure I've met many people who enjoyed the Consular story as much as I did.
I'd personally swap Warrior and Inquisitor round, but pretty sound list other than that. As to the debate previously, yes, the Agent storyline blows the others out of the water.
The Agent doesn't have the same crew mentality as a lot of other class stories though. It's more like Kotor 2 than the original Kotor in how you tend to have a focus on many different companions (and storylines to an extent) that either get on with each other or despise each other depending on your actions. Specifically as a male agent, since Kalyio and Temple tend to not get along.
If you liked Kotor more than Kotor II, in terms of the foundations of the story (more than the execution) in that you like typical Star Wars, us vs them, overcoming insurmountable odds... The knight and Trooper stories are probably for you. If you have actual taste though, Freshest's ordering is sound.
