I would actually say that the directing / Direction is probably the best part of the film. It is gorgeously shot, with some of the best looking scenes in the entire franchise. The acting wasn't horrible either outside of a couple characters.

Perhaps I was focusing too much on the production value, which was very good. The plot holes were asinine although we can hope some of them are going to be resolved in episode 9.

What bothered me the most beyond the obvious (.i.e. Luke's cowardice) are:

- The state of the galaxy is just set to the Galactic Civil War all over again
- Really lazy minor errors (was she really the first person to ever think of lightspeed ramming? Why didn't they do that before? Why do they have to physically drop bombs WW2 style in space? Why didn't the FO have more ships? Why didn't they just hyperspace in front of the Rebel fleet? etc.)

today i realized how neat it is that Kurk went from the guy that had butthurt from my posts about beating up random blacks and treated KMC seriously, into a full edgy 4chin type of guy

For those who have Battlefront 2 (2017), do you recommend it? I’m thinking about getting it for Christmas but I don’t want to get it if it sucks, obviously, lol.

I have it. Played the campaign like half way through and didn't touch it since.

It's not garbage tho, just didn't work for me.

The original battlefront 2 is considerably more appealing.

My issue with current battlefront is that there continues to be too little content. Battlefront 2 gave you a long, fun campaign, tons of maps, Galactic Conquest, a shitton of heroes and villains, etc. Current battlefront certainly offers more customization, but that's not really enough to compensate.
