Agreed. I think that cross-fictional vs. debates can present a lot of grounds for interesting discussion, especially given their relative novelty. Just linking it won't work as well because nobody goes on those forums and the thread will quickly be forgotten.
Perhaps we can have some sort of limited allowance for cross-vs. debates on here?

I mean, that kind of strikes me as an is-ought fallacy. Why are cross-universe discussions inherently less substantive? If anything, they add significantly more dimensions while retaining a novelty factor.

Because it then stops becoming a SW vs forum and just becomes a sub forum for cross vs threads, which would not only then need knowledge on whatever other side, but also get into arguments as to how this interacts with so and so, this goes here, this does X because Y. It'd just get really complicated imo.
We don't have this in the other forums from what I've seen. Anime is with anime, movies is with movies, comics with comics, etc etc and it's not really needed.

I could care less if it allows more tech related things. We don't really need cross vs threads for that, if it's come to a point that it seems like we do...then frankly? That's on the posters, not the forum itself.
