He was a great debater, beating me at every attempt, I'll miss him, even though I think we shouldn't take star wars too seriously!

good job

Well I was gonna answer that supposed "plot hole" he had.

Life support/or flight suits.

Pretty simple.

That wouldn't really allow a human pilot to withstand like a 3,000 g acceleration.

That's what it is for SW. Or at least for TIE pilots, since their fighters lack basically everything.

Of course, there's also the Inertial compensators too(which also falls under life support). So that is also there.

I Love Science's thread about how high g accelerations for human crewed craft are physically inconsistent was legitimately interesting, shouldn't have been deleted IMHO

Nothing short of some sort of physics / conservation of momentum defying magitech would matter if your body is being accelerated at that rate - armor would be pointless because your body is still being accelerated.

Yeah, but the sock account's idea was that such technology would be so absolutely groundbreaking its applications that you'd expect to see a lot more than just being able to put humans in fast ships.

Which it is, it's science fantasy, not realistic science. Generally real science cowers and curls up into a fetal position when trying to compare. Why SW has its own rules, why 40K has its own rules, so on and so forth.

So I Love Science was a sock? Interesting, I wonder who that was.

Who here thinks that I am a sock?

that would be too insane

That sounds like a great idea. 😉

I am TOAA. And Caedus solos the verse.

😉

Question for those who sock:

Is troll-spamming, like, the 'cool' thing to do when you sock? The dedication is interesting, I suppose, but I just don't get what the motivation is?

Enlighten me.

For me, there's a sadistic thrill knowing that every post needs to be deleted manually. Not sure how others get their kicks.

LMAOOO. remember when you spammed huge HD wallpapers once, the kmc servers literally couldn't load rofll

legit: for me the most important thing is impersonating people, i remember having a sock impersonating Jack trying to impersonate Tempest, it's about intellectual challenge of being a convincing actor

But... why bother in the first place? I mean, I guess it might upset those who give a shit, but in general it causes a minor inconvenience at best.

Like all the spam-bumps on the first page... Does that sock really think I care enough to go through and delete all those posts? Eff that, lol.

It seems more like a case of someone venting some kind of frustration than their innermost desire to cause inconvenience to others. After all, it's not like people give a **** to randoms they don't know - either in a positive and negative sense.
