I think I just disproved Nebaris. (Moar)

So he claims that Bane was able to 'redirect' the Force Lightning of (basically) the entire brotherhood during the Force Storm ritual without any prep or ritual actions. He claims that Bane would therefore be able to do the same for [insert Force attack here] in just about every single match ever.

Concerned question: If Bane has such a powerful Force defense and he does not need a ritual to make use of it, then why was he unable to absorb/deal with the lightning that fried his Orbalisks. Surely he would have activated his own defense after the Force Bubble surrounds him, right? It seems as though Bane (who Neb claims to be able to move exceptionally Fast due to his 'blurring' in a Force sensitive's eyes) should have been able to respond quickly enough.

This means that Nebaris is either claiming that Bane's lightning is more powerful than the Brotherhood's combined power or that he is not able to use the 'Force Absorb' technique outside of the ritual. Alternatively, Bane's speed has been greatly exaggerated.

I hate defending Bane/Nebaris, but when fried himself in RO2 he wac caught off guard by Worror since he was aiming at Othone. Plus the orbalisks are naturally weak to lightning (which is a disadvanatge vs alot of the upper tiers like Kun) and they injected him with the toxins. Also, due to the fact that they are living creatures that feed on the darkside, it wouldn't surprise me if they were trying feed on the darskide in Bane more then usual to stay alive thus hurting more.

I have a Q for Saenbr:

How come you don't actually try and hide the fact that you're nebaris? Think about it: you could actually get an avatar, make a big, detailed profile and then try and not make it obvious that you're a sock: maybe still support Bane but don't support him TOO much, and then you'll be fine!

Same thing w/all socks: it's pretty easy (if you try hard) to make it not so obvious that you're a sock, just be normal.

(I fear that you'll follow this advice and then no one will ever realize that X person is a sock... 🙁 )

To hide his identity from us would do two things:

1.) Force an artificial alteration of his nature---too hard to maintain.

2.) Eventually make us forget about the most notorious sock this forum's ever seen.

Well, I don't think the Star Forge has a union, so it might be more productive than a car manufacturer. But producing every single day? That's a stretch.
