Wow that is plot hole. If that scene did take place in Sidious' office then I guess the jedi were actually guilty of treason.

Well, if they were spying on him, having Anakin report back is redundant. All they had to do was watch his office, have him confess his Sith-dom to Anakin, and arrive with dudes. If those dudes die, they can see Anakin interceding, they can send moar dudes, and eventually, Sidious dies. Hell, they could have alerted Yoda and he may have been able to show up well before Mace Windu was forced to go over and crash Sidious' party.

Considering interstellar travel takes place in very little time, they could have stalled and waited for Yoda. Had they done so, the Republic would have stood and the Sith would have been destroyed.

There IS audio. Obi-Wan clearly hears Anakin being christened Vader, and Yoda later references the name Vader to the Emperor whom he calls Sidious.

You all are right:

They could send Anakin to Palpatine, and then Anakin tells them, just like before.

They call for Yoda and also warn all of the jedi around the galaxy, and so Yoda and several other jedi head to get Palpatine

They simply wait and wait until Yoda and the others arrive and THEN arrest Palpatine.

Not really, for all you know it takes days and maybe weeks to travel from Coruscant to the outer rim, even more to the unknown regions.

Where does it state that it was the same day? I know it takes a few days to Korriban from the core, hell it takes what, half a day from coruscant to corellia I believe.

Well in Clone Wars: Wild Space it takes Obi Wan and Bail what is assumed to be several/a few days to get into Wild Space/the unknown regions from Coruscant...

Inconsistency seems to be the problem here. Rex has a right to ban people who "disrespect" him, but he won't take a similar authoritarian action and close threads who break a different rule:

Matches between non-SW characters will be closed. Both characters must be from Star Wars.

I mean no disrespect towards rex with this message, note that I have said multiple times that he has a right to ban people who disrespect him.
