Written by J.S Vigliar“Do you not see?” Kieron said, raising his hands towards the stars. “I look at the universe in all of its grand splendor and macabre horror, in all of its wondrous beauty and vicious terror and I see a blank slate waiting for humanity to grant it value. Humanity is always looking to some distant god for meaning, as if the existence of a higher power would give them meaning. Are they blind?” He lifted his eyes up to the heavens and smiled. “This is the gift of the universe! The ability to shout to the heavens and say this is what matters to me! And no, god, demon or spirit will tell me otherwise.” He turned toward Lucius and shook his head. “You, with your mantra of ‘all is meaningless’ reject the greatest gift ever given to humankind.”
“I have little interest in your inane-”
“-you are afraid, that if you give something meaning and then you lost it, it would hurt you in a way no weapon could.” Kieron’s face grew dark as he drove his words relentlessly. “Instead, you wallow in some kind of self-satisfied misery, sneering down at the world and all those happier than you.” He paused, letting his words sink in. Watching the play of expressions across his father's face. “You, are pathetic.” He said. Lucius opened his mouth to reply, but Kieron cut him off. “The sister I have never known cares for you as only a daughter can. She loves you, even though you are too afraid to love her in return. She loves you, because she is willing to forgive your cowardice.” He narrowed his eyes, expression turning hard. “I am not so forgiving of the man that can orchestrate the slaughter of thousands in the name of his pride and then justify it by clutching to his greatest fear.”
“I suppose you consider yourself some living font of wisdom on the human condition?” Lucius asked blankly. “Should I call my only son, Kieron the Wise now?”
“Such epithets would be empty coming from you.” Kieron replied. “What would the most infamous fool alive know of wisdom?”
Ah, I love existentialism. A pity postmodernism has taken over and completely ruined it.
This is what I get for not having a job this winter break. Nothing to do at all, driving me to post the most random crap I can find. Or, busting out a vicious philosophical attack against deontological ethics.

This is turning out better than I thought. Stupid dems trying to rush it.
so what do ya'll think of us GIVING 100,000,000,000 a year to china so they can fight climate change? That isn't the sum of the bill of course, we still have to pay for our fight for climate change, ON TOP of cap and trade. That is how much money we are borrowing a year from China, to GIVE china. and then we get to pay interest to china.
Are you kidding? This President is a joke.
