Both are Awesome, Bioshock is quicker to finish if all content is explored. I personally enjoyed Oblivion more though, I advise Bioshock since I haven't seen Lucien play anything other than Oblivion.

I'm on to Fallout 3 now. Have to get all the DLC achievements.

i liked fallout 3. I started oblivion last night, in ways, it seemed similar, but the leveling system was really confusing. I'm planning on researching some things, and then starting over.

I guess fallout 3 is just as confusing with the powers and things, but i had played the entire trilogy, and the extra games that spun off of them, and understood it better.

The UESP official site got me through Oblivion. There's just so many dungeons and caves and ruins to go all through, so some knowledge beforehand can really save you time.

Please, no more Painter!!! I beg of you! make it stop!!!

Shwa?

Apparently James Cameron has plans for "Avatar" to be a trilogy. That is SWEET.

The colts playing painter instead of Manning. I still haven't gotten over it. It was a blow. They threw history on the floor, and stomped on it.

Well, I partly agree with Caldwell. However, not the way he did it exactly. You either play them the whole game or don't play them at all. Sitting them in the 3rd quarter seemed both random and retarded. I do believe that they shouldn't be chasing history at all, because we saw how that worked out for the Patriots, who are superior to this Colts team in every facet of football.
On the other hand, it's the Jets. Manning could have beaten them with his 2nd string, and in this regard Caldwell made an error. I also heard something interesting from one of the ESPN analysts regarding negative energy. Instead of the 14 wins, the Colts are going to focus on that one loss coming into Buffalo, and that's negative energy they don't need, especially with all of their injuries. So I'm 55-45 for Caldwell's decision, and maybe next time he'll do it in a more professional fashion. However, if the Colts win the Superbowl, nothing else matters.

well, it was definilty a polian decision.

I will disagree on the idea that if they win the super bowl, colts fans will forget. We will be even more unhappy that we didn't go for it, because that will then be all that seperated us from undefeated.

Also: Saying that this doesn't matter, just the super bowl does, puts a LOT of pressure on the colts that wasn't there before. Now they absolutely MUST win the super bowl, or the entire season was a waste. 44 super bowl champions. ZERO 19-0 teams. You can't just throw away a shot at immortality like that.

Lastly, if teh colts weren't going to go for it, they shouldn't have played starters against the jags either. As it stands, Garcon got hurt for nothing. I would have respected the decision if it were made then.

Plus, Manning has 11K snaps. He has missed ONE because of injury. He wasn't going to get hurt.

The whole retrospect/Monday Morning quarterbacking is ridiculous. It's easy to sit there and analyze weeks after something happened. This was a good decision because the Colts are notoriously known for injuries. They have 24 guys out this year, 13 of them are starters. They can't afford to lose anybody else. They've already clinched home court advantage throughout the playoffs. Time to rest.

Of course you can. The 06 Patriots were possibly the greatest team assembled, yet they got outplayed in the ONLY game that really counts. And yes, the Colts MUST win the super bowl or the entire season WAS a waste. This is the goal of the elite teams in every sport. Anything less than a championship for the Colts IS a waste. They've had the best regular season team throughout the last 10 years, yet have only 1 title to show for it.

Lastly, if teh colts weren't going to go for it, they shouldn't have played starters against the jags either. As it stands, Garcon got hurt for nothing. I would have respected the decision if it were made then.

This is why I criticize Caldwell for not making up his mind. However, according to him, Manning, and other guys, he told them to be flexible and that he might sit them. Not sure why he chose this game but maybe he decided it wasn't worth the risk.

Plus, Manning has 11K snaps. He has missed ONE because of injury. He wasn't going to get hurt. [/B]

This is in no way any real guarantee.

Hey, has anyone ever heard about a short story by Alan Moore about Vader? Apparently its awesome in a can.

Edit: Also, why have I never heard of Lara Notsil before? She sounds like a fugging badass.

Beefy: i thought you might enjoy this:

"I'd be careful analyzing my facial expressions. I was not surprised by what happened. I knew it was potentially part of the plan. ... I was told before the game to be flexible."
-- Peyton Manning

We should be careful analyzing Peyton Manning's facial expressions? Peyton Manning? The guy who's every emotion on the field shows up on his face? The guy who, if he plays poker, not only weeps openly about a bad hand, but probably writes "I have a 2 and a 7 unsuited" on his forehead in marker?

But maybe he's right. What's to analyze? With facial expressions that obvious, there's really no need for analysis.

Yea I saw that, don't know what to think of that. All I know is, Caldwell's timing is piss poor. This is the last thing the Colts need and Caldwell is definitely responsible.

So Avatar made over 19 million on Monday and 18 million on Tuesday. It's run is pretty much historic. Anybody here think it can surpass Titanic?

It rather sucks that there is no true 3D theater where I live. Sure they have those imitation ones with the stupid colored glasses, but that's not true 3D.

That sucks dude. I've seen it once on Imax and 3 times on Real 3-D and jesus christ, there's no comparison. This is by far the most enjoyable movie I've ever seen.

I realize my appearances here have been sporadic and unforseen, but I've been busy with college demands, a social life in critical condition, and dozens of documents, plans, and designs for the Reconstructed Star Wars...

...Is anyone still interested in that? I'd like to get about twelve people or so to lend a hand, with 2-3 groups. One group with interests in the pre-movie era (KotOR, TotJ, PoD), one group concerned with the movie era, and perhaps a group concerned with the post-movie era (or we might combine the previous groups for that effort).
