truejediNo American life is complete without at least one viewing of the Colbert Report. Watch one, someday. The majority of his material isn't even focused on issues you would be offended about or find disagreeable.
What a stupid sounding show. Sarcasm and parody are only funny in small doses.
This I caught courtesy of RHNem:
DS...
No. Colbert is a Conservative, Steward is a liberal. Stewart makes fun of mostly conservatives while Colbert who makes fun of both sides, makes fun of mostly liberals. So again, no.
Seriously?
truejediI don't think I'd ever seen Redick make a mistake before Game 2 - ever since last year, I cheer inside when he comes on - but God damn did he f*ck that up.
redick didn't play badly. I really wish he had gotten the chance to get good minutes somewhere from the beginning of his career. Heck, come and play on the pacers, he is like a better version of mike dunleavy.
It's only mildly okay because Rashard Lewis is being completely useless and Paul Pierce is a f*cking pussy, so Orly probably wasn't taking it anyway.
I really thought they had it this time, though. Howard was doing well, Garnett and Pierce had five fouls in the fourth...
AutokratWut.
I'm pumped. For the 2010-2011 year, I will be spending the entire academic year in a multidicsplinary program that unites epistemology with neuroscience. Fifty credits total.
phuck you too, DS.
The best part of reading that post was that I got to see the textbook example of someone for whom there is absolutely no possible argument. You've still failed to provide even a semblance of a cogent point, and I'm beginning to believe that this failure is the result of a systematic deficiency in your intelligence, rather than the selective apathy you've claimed so often.
TJ, you'll get a response, but I can't promise that it will be line by line. That is a prodigious number of different paragraphs to give specific tags to.

Wut.
Am I wrong though, ANY Player on the floor or coach can call a TO right? Its that way at the HS and college levels anyway. Why do they act like its all on him for not calling the time-out?

I go to a school with a weird system. I take quarter long 16 credit programs that unify different classes. This quarter for example, I am taking a 16 credit program combining Russian History, Sociology and Marxist-Lenin Theory. Some of these programs last all year. Next year I will be taking a year long program focusing on Epistemology, Anthropology and Neuroscience, which will come out to roughly fifty credits total.
I really truly do not have an opinion on this subject, it doesn't matter to me what they teach kids in Texas, but take a second, and read this same story from each of these websites. I am speechless right now at the differences in the spin of the stories. I don't think i've ever seen a bigger obvious gap.

AutokratHow many credits do you need to graduate?

I already have an A.A (Associate of Arts, which was worth 90 credits.) I need 180 to receive my B.A in Liberal Arts of Philosophy.
I should hopefully be able to graduate half a year early.
From there I plan on attending University of Washington and earning at least a Masters in Philosophy.
Man, Paradise Lost is really misogynistic when you look into it. Its really creepy how much Milton goes on about Eve's 'submissive chams' and mentions how she 'yields' to Adam. And I don't even want to know what 'sweet reluctant amorous delay' is. Squick!
What really gets me is how this is supposed to be untainted love in Paradise. Sigh....

Originally posted by Eminencewho knew Boston would have 2008 flashbacks and that Howard's supporting cast would disappear? Or that Rondo would establish himself as the best player in the playoffs? I had the Celtics at the beginning of training camp but I lost faith when Sheer came in with man boobs and he chemistry died down. I thought the way Orlando was playing that they would win this in five. Now today's game will most likely determine the series if the outcome isn't obvious already.
