Yes I am excited for it, it's the most anticipated movie of my lifetime. Yes, bigger than Star Wars and LOTR. This is Wall Street. And LL, I hope you're being sarcastic. How can you not know who that is? And I can't find anything bigger.
The movie was pretty good. However, it was a prime example of the type of movies that come out in this day and age versus the movies of the 80s and before. The first Wall Street dealt with Economic specifics while this dealt with basic (for some) economics, and too much of a love story between Shia and his soon to be wife, as well as the girl trying to reconnect with Gekko. Gekko was awesome and ruthless in this one but not as ruthless as in the 1st one. It was obvious from the start that this was a dumbed down version tailored to the typical American audience of today. I liked the movie but I expected more. And btw, Shia LaBeouf was great in it. He continues to be the only real successful disney star and it's because he's very talented.
