What makes you feel the need to say that?

Lucien, you might enjoy this if you haven't already found it.

That was good; I laughed at the end.

“One,” I say. “Sheep are not absolute pebbles. Two, I don’t think my bucket actually contains the sheep. Three, I don’t worship my bucket level as perfect – I adjust it sometimes – and I do that because I care about the sheep.”

“Besides,” says Autrey, “someone who believes that possessing absolute pebbles would license torture and murder, is making a mistake that has nothing to do with buckets. You’re solving the wrong problem.”

Mark calms himself down. “I suppose I can’t expect any better from mere shepherds. You probably believe that snow is white, don’t you.”

Out of context, those are some strange lines.

So those dickfaced Westboro Baptist Church aholes are coming to my school so they can protest on campus.

This is one of those times I will tell you to start throwing rocks at this religious group.. Do whatever it takes to disrupt these assholes. If they were coming to my area, I would use their own retarded logic against them.

"Hey guess what, I'm Jewish and therefore my religion came before yours. Mine is the true religion as evidenced by your false prophets writing their own Bible that pretty much copies the Torah, with a few skewed interpretations. If you're going to push your agenda on other people, I'll push mine on you. You're a brainwashed heretic and your religion is false."

Something along those lines.

And if that don't float your boat I find that Molotov cocktails are a good alternative.

Good 'ol fashioned campus violence just isn't the same anymore...

Where are the rifles?!

GAMETIME

Game was crap. The Viking's Offense was so shitty the first half it was repulsive. During the second half they finally managed to get it back together, untill Favre throws an interception around the 20 yard line with a minute and a half left...

Well, we got to see 1 quarter of the potential brilliance of Favre and the Vikings and if they can play like that for at least 3 quarters, they are going to win the Super Bowl. But yea they sucked for 2 quarters. ALso, I won $200 because I said Favre would either throw a touchdown or interception on that drive..

well, favre always throws interceptions in big drives. Manning is going to break every single one of his records... if FAVRE ever freaking retires.

Pats made a HUGE mistake trading Moss. 23 of Brady's 50 was too moss.
oh, and this link is the best thing i've ever read:

Brett Favre isn't going to retire until his old ass gets crippled.

I remember when this used to be a Star Wars forum.

Offensively, this Vikings team is the most stacked I've ever seen not named the 2007 Patriots. I think that spark at the end of the game is what turns the season around for the Vikings. They were the best team last year and were undone by Favre's interception, but now they have Moss who spreads the field and allows single coverage for Harvin. Also, if Sidney Rice comes back they would be unstoppable. They played 1 good quarter and almost beat the best team in the NFL on the road, which says something. With that said, Favre needs to get his head out of his ass. His decision making skills have not improved with age.

It IS a Star Wars forum. But this is the Battle Bar, you act surprise when anything other than Star Wars gets mentioned.

The Battle Bar is the only place where anything gets posted these days. Hence no Star Wars anymore.

I see updates every once in a while. The people that rigorously debated this stuff are pretty much gone and there's only so many match ups you can do.

Actually, one could do quite many match ups.

The point is that the current modus operandi of this forum has become to simply say "nope" when there isn't hard evidence presented for a claim made, no matter how much logical deduction (or induction) there has been performed to come to a certain conclusion. The next problem lies within the fact, that everytime a character is used, that hasn't at least one book performing an elaboration on his powers and abilities, has to be an unknown. On panel evidence isn't worth consideration any longer.

As a result, debating isn't fun any longer, because it's based upon speculation and opinion. An idea that some people want to deny, because they almost desperately crave for "hard facts" in a fictional realm, that is defined by sources that are subject to interpretation. Quite ironic.

I thought it was because you just scare everybody away.
