i haven't forgotten his one good game of the playoffs, no. The other 3 games: 10-27, 11-27, 12-32. that is after a PITIFUL first round.

You keep saying lebron isn't a good shooter, and he continues to shoot almost 60 percent for the playoffs. I don't know what more you want from him really.

Most of his shots are within 15 feet which happens because he's got another superstar on his team to take the attention away from him. Get him past 15 feet, and his % is below 40.

he shot almost as well last year, where his other superstar was mo williams, so that obviously isn't the case. He is simply better with his shot selection than rose is. I have been watching Rose since you said he was a better jump shooter than Lebron, and he has been NOTHING but TERRIBLE from deep. He needs to stop shooting threes period really.

I don't recall saying he was a better jump shooter than Lebron, yet. Either way, I'll take Rose's performance last night over Lebron's measily 15 points against Boston.

I wouldn't. If you aren't playing well, which rose wasn't, don't shoot the ball every time down the floor. that's just being a good teammate. Boozer was shooting 70 percent and only took 10 shots., the main difference being that Lebron has had 1 game like that in these playoffs, while rose has 2 good games out of 8. that's not very good.

Okay, and if rose isn't a better jump shooter than lebron, and when lebron takes it to the basket, he scores almost every time, why are you saying that rose is a better shooter than james?

Rose is a hell of a lot better than Lebron in terms of taking it to the basket. And yea, Rose had a few bad games, so what? So did Lebron.

I'm not buying that Rose is better than Lebron at taking it to the basket. Rose also misses a ridiculous number of shots around the rim.

game 4 is tonight!

Football sucks.

Stop talking about sports. We're Star Wars nerds goddamit--you can't go around talking like regular people.

DE, you were kidding, right?

I hate all sport. Even cricket.

Because you're queer.

You wish.

I was going to say, i re-read our Bastilla/kenobi thread, and I stand by everything we posted. that was actually one of the finer discussions in the forum i think. it was remarkably on-topic, and no one half-assed their answers....

even if DE never even bothered to reply to my destruction of his post! : )

BRING IT MOTHERF*CKER!

Edit: You'll probably have to point me to it though.

: ) eh, don't worry about it. it was like page 4 of the Bastilla Shan vs. ROTS Kenobi thread though.

NO, I AM REPLYING TO YOU IF ITS THE LAST THING I DO!

Is it this post:

The listed abilities you get her back with are not, however, quantified.(and I'm sorry if i didn't make that clear before, I could have saved us a couple of posts.)

How good is she with these powers? Considering how short a time she has been with Malak, it is doubtful that she has achieved anything that is anywhere near mastery with them. Also, DEFINE a lot of those powers? A lot of them looked a lot like variations on TK. Kenobi has already blocked an all-out force shove from the chosen one himself, Bastilla's TK isn't going to be able to spin Kenobi like a top.

Kenobi has been attacked with the force by Dooku, by Assajji and by Anakin. In his battle with Durge, he reaches out a hand and blocks ALL of the bullets from what appears to be a mini-gun. His force abilities are not weak enough that we assume he, a Jedi Master, loses to every single opponent who uses the force.

He was taken off guard for a single moment by DOOKU, a being who was arguably the 2nd most powerful jedi behind Yoda BEFORE leaving the order, and you act like Kenobi will fall to every single person who attacks him through the force. This simply isn't the case.

Bastilla isn't Dooku.

Regardless, I will stick to the fact that 95% of fights between force-users end with a sabers death.

BECAUSE I WILL TOTALLY RIP IT APART!

no, it was my line by line reply to your post.

it was on page 3, where i ended the discussion on quantifying bastilla's abilities in relation to dooku (which Advent kept trying to turn into an assumption)

Gog damnit, I'd already started with that post.
