At least in my experience, although there were certainly people there who looked like they had been doing it all their damn lives.

The last time I danced was at my senior prom, and in that context, dancing (for guys, at least) means little more than standing still, hips thrust forward, letting girls twerk it on you.

No, no, that's how dancing (in a night club at least) works in general. Stand around and kind of limply move around to a beat while a female spazzes against you. You generally should always let the woman take the lead when dancing.
