I was a restaraunt manager when it got raised last time: All of our prices promptly went up 35 percent, as well as every other restaraunt in town. This means everyone is simply paying more for the same things, rendering the "raised" minimum wage a waste of time. (and it hurts those who were previously "above" minimum wage, that thanks to the new minimum wage, are now just making minimum wage.

It also kills jobs, but hey people don't understand that if you lower the efficiency of one market, its going to impact other markets. Labor and Product markets aren't hermits in the avoid.
