There is nothing that pisses me off more than another fvcking 'CORPORATIONS ARE EEEEVIL! plotline.
I have yet to play Deus Ex but I know people who have and it's never been described as quite the very best, though I have heard good things.
The list of all time best videogame storylines would include the likes of Xenogears, Braid, Ever17, Remember11, 999, Chaos;Head, Saya no Uta, Phantom of Inferno, G-senjou no Maou, Sharin no Kuni, and Crescendo.

The game with the best plot I've played so far would have to be........ probably Persona 3. The best ending to pretty much anything I've seen. Also Kotor 2 and screw the haters.

Also, DE, your rant is irrelevant since you're voicing your displeasure through a 2011 perspective when the game came out in 99.
Even objectively it isn't that great. One of the major problems is JC Denton who I swear is a fvcking robot. He's supposed to still be at least a little human still right? Every scene he speaks in just dies from his monotone, lifeless performance. Even by '90's standards its cringeworthy. There is not a single actual character in the entire game. No-one has any real personality. Its incredibly hard to get emotionally involved in the story, the plot of which is definately way above average, but still flawed.
