Nocturne has a totally different vibe from Persona and Digital Devil Saga for the record. It's nowhere near as story heavy and it has a generally far more bleak atmosphere. You'd be better off trying out Devil Survivor and Strange Journey as far as SMT is concerned.

🙂 2 is my favorite game of all time. I wished Throne of Bhaal was longer (though it was lengthy for an expansion), but it had some epic battles (viz. Demogorgon).

A part of me wishes they could somehow remake Athkatla with today's graphics. That would be stunning.
