"hey r u our mom me and kage (talking to layla)?"
*Shadows fur stood up on his back and he started to growl at Crow. Shadow was a fiesty mean pup that like to hurt other things he thinks Crow would be a perfect parent or brother to him because they both are really mean and aggresive*
*Shadow stood his ground and was sttill growling at Crow with his fur standing up and Shadow was protection now protecting his brother kage and his sister Layla*
"we r not fighting Kai he was helping us then tthis big cocky wolf the older version of me showed up and attacked him and i cant help him im tto small"
*and the thought of not being able to do anything because he wasnt big enough to fight got Shadow really angry*
*shadow stoped being so protective and went back to his sister and layed down next to her and was still watching the otther2 wolves so they wouldn't come after him and his brother and sister*
"Layla im sorry but i dont know if we will find mom or dad thats what kai is trying to help us do but this cocky wolf is trying to eat me and kage for dinner"
[]GAH sorry I havent posted all day. Im turning out to be a horrible alpha lol >_< And where is the alpha male?? []
The female had seen enough of the event that was unfolding infront of her. A rogue wolf had been picking on the wandering pups and it seemed she was ready to make herself a meal. The alpha would have none of this in her territory. She had always had a soft spot for young, and a strange wolf prowling in her packs territory was a major insult to the proud female.
The sleek black wolf sped down the grassy hill and put herself between the puppies and the loner. With a sudden violent snarl she lashed out and snapped at the other wolf's face, taking off a bit of flesh at the end of the rogues nose as she pulled back.
"I'll give you a running start past that boulder before I tear your scrawny hide to coyote scraps." She growled, her teeth bared and at the ready.

"Me? An older version of you?" A snigger turned into a cold-hearted laugh at the statement. Crow was an older version of none; she was herself and nothing more, nothing less. Any one who insinuated otherwise needed a good, swift kick to the head. If it didn't kill them, it might just knock some sense into that thick skull of theirs.
Her laughter was given a head start to begin again by the other adult female, but she didn't allow it to last long. She'd been attacked. Again. Would they ever learn? She turned her face to the side, pulling her head out of reach of those snapping jaws. Finally, she thought, Something that might be even the smallest bit worth dealing with. She returned the snarl, but put her own twist on it by smirking as her lips curled upwards. The sunlight fell upon her twisted face in such a way that shadows fell where they normally wouldn't giving her a most fearsome appearance, and she became the creature of young pups' nightmares.
Granted, the adults might not find her so, or were too stubborn to admit it, but that didn't change her abilities; not in the least. Crow had the strength, cunning, agility, and intelligence to back her actions up, unlike the poser before her. "May I note that I would have to be a coyote to be torn into coyote scraps. You see, flesh does not change its form in such a manner."
Her muscles returned once more to their tensed state without her instructing them to; as evidenced by the wolves around her, she was quick to make enemies and was always on the alert. Her head lowered a bit, not in submission, no, never in submission, but in readiness to protect her throat. Her ears remained forward and her tail erect, defying the authority of the alphess before her and showing no fear. Her pupils widened leaving her eyes straight black with a thick rim of emerald green. Who's afraid of the big bad wolf?
ooc: Yes, I changed the effect your attack had. It was powerplayed. I suggest you read the article I linked to as well. And may I suggest that you post a character sheet; makes it much easier for the rest of us.
Erm... And I'm sorry that's so long. Got carried away there.

Tsuna swivled her ears and breathed in deeply. Her body quivered. A hazy morning mist had settled over the land. She growled softly. There were quite a few ther wolves around. This was her territory. She loped back to her den and let her eyes adjust to the light setting. The corners f her lips turned up for just a moment when she saw her young. Trotting over to him, she snatched the sleeping pup into her mouth, and carried him towards the kill she had dragged in. It was about time he was weaned off of her milk. With this one she was going to run dry.
" Here little one. " Tsuna crooned, nuzzling him gently. " Eat this. " With that she ripped off a bit off a chunk of the creature's ( Which happened to be a dear ) flank, and settled in by the mouth of the den. Her white hide blew softly in the upcoming winter's wind. Winter was a time of death...she shivered, but then turned her gaze back to the pup.
[]Hmm I completely forgot about the char. Sheet. Sorry about that everyone. Here it is.
(Name: Roja
Age: Not sure yet. She isnt an old wolf, but shes old enough to earn respect.
Sex: female
Pack: I dont know if the name was decided yet or not.
Rank: Alpha female
Coat: Black
Eyes: Brown or deep red when excited or angered.
Bio: Roja is a proud and respected alpha female of a medium sized pack. She is the strongest and fastest of all the females in the group. Even most the males are no match for her speed and cunning. She is the ultimate predator and a precise killer. Roja puts the lives of her pack before her own and does all in her power to keep them safe and healthy. Having no young she is especially protective of other pups, due to the fact that they are what will hold her pack together when she is no longer around.)
And Dawson I dont believe scratching your character on the nose was power play. Your character is in my characters territory so she has a major advantage. Also I've noticed you've made alot of OOC suggestions... My suggestion to you is to keep the OOC on the downside and remember that these are unhosted role plays and rules such as the ones youre trying to enforce really have no impact here. Just have some fun 🙂 []
The alpha stood rigid, her teeth still bared to show she wasn't playing, and her right fore paw slightly behind the left. This straggler was more of a nuisance than she had expected. Stubborn and somewhat foolish, this wolf before her possessed little of a threat.
"I thought I made myself clear. By reducing you to coyote scraps I implied that the scavengers will be feeding from your carcass in a matter of minutes if you dont have the common sense to leave my territory." She barked, still putting herself in front of the pups.
ooc: Well, I'm sorry. I'm used to a much higher level and intensity of roleplaying. And, yes, that is powerplaying. Even touching someone's character without allowing them to reply to your actions is powerplaying. I'm having fun, and I'm trying to lighten up. Perhaps I should have used Nvda here rather than Crow; she's much more lighthearted, but I'm not as good with her as I am with Crow or even Dawson, who's psychopathic.
ic: "You just don't get it, do you? You're not the strongest; you're not the quickest; you're not the best. If you can get those fogging ideas out of your thick skull, you might just be able to understand where I'm coming from." Crow knew that the female wasn't playing, but neither was she. Playing was for pups.
"I am not a member of your pack, and I am not afraid of you. I've chosen not to obey your rules, and the only way I will is if you force me to." The chances that the female would be able to do so were basically nonexistent. Yes, Crow was destructible; she wasn't immortal, of course, and she could be defeated, but the occurrence was a very uncommon one. She was older than the female before her, but she wasn't old. She had experience, but she had been known to do something reckless every now and then. The alpha wasn't a problem.
[] I think a few of us are used to a "higher level and intensity of roleplaying" But at this site people are relaxed about posts and in this particular section, there are next to no rules. Maybe you should check out the hosted RP's. Those are probably more your style. []
"For some reason I dont remember stating that I was the best." She said calmly taking a step forward. "But given the fact that you are not willing to comply with my offer, then I guess I really will have to force you to obey." She said, a light growl starting from the pit of her chest worked its way towards her throat and ended in a violent bark as she snapped her jaws in the face of the other wolf, missing twice before she thew herself into the rogues shoulder and clamped down.
Roja shoved the other wolf into the ground and stood over her dominantly as she arched her back and snarled in the trespassers face.
"Leave."
Sitting on top of the nearby hill were two grey wolves and a shaggy brown coated wolf. They watched the scene quietly and waited for a sign from their leader.
ooc: Tried that. I'm used to roleplays hosted by sites like Avidgamers or AcornRack, both of which were basically designed to host roleplays. That's where I fit in best.
ic: "Not everything is said through words, my dear." She referred, of course, to body language, the main language of the wolf species. She noticed the warning signs of an upcoming attack, and, as she had done with the male's attempt, allowed her muscles to uncoil and move her as if they were springs. Crow moved sideways, also as before, and turned the alpha's attack into an attempt, leaving her with a mouthful of thick black fur.
She calmly drew in a deep breath, he nares flaring as the scent of more wolves entered them. Keeping her ears pointed towards the alpha to keep track of her movements, muscles tensed and ready, her gaze shifted to the wolves upon the hill. She could take two easily, possibly three, but four was pushing it. She wasn't going to surrender, and she wasn't going to leave, for there was literally no where to go, but she was more than smart enough to know when it was in her best interest to tone it down. And so she did. "Perhaps," she paused, "we could come to some sort of agreement."
ooc: I'll lighten up if you'll stop powerplaying. Alpha or not, unhosted or hosted, powerplaying should always be unacceptable.
[]Powerplaying is a term these people aren't used to here. They dont allow godmodding. Which is almost what your doing. Not allowing your character to get hurt. If you read through some of these RP's there is alot of "power playing" and no one really cares. Pinning your character is one thing, but killing her off would be another. There are limits and I think most people would agree that my posts dont exceed those limits.[]
"An agreement?" She snapped, her fur still rigid. "You refuse to obey my rules and now you're asking for me to compromise with you?" The alpha slowly started circle the other wolf. "Such an act of kindness would be unappreciated by a Ferrel creature such as yourself. If you want an agreement your going to have to get your head on straight. An animal who's so full of her self and her abilities usually is good for nothing more than a useless fight." Roja snapped at the wolf's back legs. When she circled around the front of the wolf she spoke again. "But im willing to see what you have to offer. What is it that brought you here?"
The female stopped circling and stood face to face with the rogue.
ooc: Well, I'm not most. I'll allow her to get hurt, as evidenced by the blood currently on her face, but I decide what happens to her, not the people attacking. Got it? Most of the people here would not last a day in the places that I used to roleplay.
ic: It was almost amusing to see this female angry, her hackles constantly raised and her voice clipping each word. She allowed her bulk to once again fall upon her haunches as she listened to the alpha rant.
"Of course. After all, neither of us here really wants a fight." It was true; she wasn't here for a fight, just to feed. She'd fight for her food if necessary, but not in a situation where she was as out numbered as this. "Besides, I know what I can do. My confidence in myself is not out of place."
She paused and ignored the biting at her heels. This alpha wasn't as stupid as some, and wasn't going to outright decline to her request. She thought a moment, her mind concentrated on how she could best pull off avoiding conflict with four or five wolves while getting what she wanted. She might have to give up the pups for this one, but she'd smelled cougar earlier; perhaps she'd settle for a feline cub rather than a canine one. A wolf, even one with a pack, should be happy to have one or two young exterminated. Perhaps she could play off of the fact that there were young wolves here, small, sweet meals for a full grown cougar. "Do you, per chance, have a possible predator problem?"
