I know the knockback thing is hard to understand, but the fight can't really continue if Wolverine is thrown 500 yards away. Cyclops would have to go find him again, which would be very dangerous for Scott. It's actually in his interest not to blast Wolverine a mile.

Why would Cyclops have to go find him again he could just sit there and wait for Wolverine. Or he could just shoot a huge ditch all around him and just wait for wolverine to attack and when he has to go into the ditch blast him into the ground.........
Anyway my point is Cyclops has a number of options to attack and subdue Wolverine, the same cannot be said for the runt.

First of all, I never said that Wolverine would be KO'd by Cyclops's blasts. He should however, be incapacitated for a bit because Cyclops's blasts have leveled whole forests and have blasted Sentinels FAR away. Wolverine has actually been KO'd by a lot less than that.
Second of all, anytime Wolverine competes with the Hulk, it's PIS. 😐 I like Wolverine, he's one of my favorite characters but I know what he is capable of and what his limits are, and he just shouldn't be able to give Hulk a very good fight.
Third of all, if Cyclops blasts Wolverine a mile away, then Wolverine would have to come back to Scott and Scott would do the same thing over and over again. He would have no forward progression at all. I could possibly see Wolverine taking that majority in an environment where he can use stealth and if there are innocent bystandards by. Other than that, Cyclops should take the majority.

Looking at their powersets, Hulk always gets dumbed down and Wolverine always gets amped. You can't tell me that you think that Wolverine is on the level of the Hulk. I don't care what the hell Wolverine was designed to do...

there's relatively nothing to support that hulk is dumbed down or that wolverine is amped... that's just your bias on the matter without much proof or rationale to support it.

I know, but looking at their capabilities, it should be literally impossible for Wolverine to beat Hulk. He might be able to dance around him for a bit, but Hulk is infinitely stronger, more durable, has a better healing factor, is faster, has more endurance, etc... I think, the only reason that Logan has been able to compete with Hulk all these years is because of his popularity. It's a fact; Wolverine sells comics and Marvel knows this.
