His Shield helps him survive in space...with it up...she wouldn't be able to touch him...

The lag would be much smaller because he doesn't manipulate weather patterns....and he has been shown to erect them almost instantly..

Because the writer didn't have him to create one...perhaps to create sense of action or excitement. It would have been easy to Magneto to create a field there, especially when he has done it in more difficult situations with faster speed.

Storm manpulates weather patterns and the atmosphere just as magneto manuplates metal. So how is the "lag" different?

I go on a short hiatus and people start thinking Storm can beat Magneto. For shame.

Magneto manipulates EM energy....Storm has to move weather patterns in a certain way to summon up specific elements....more thought required with Storms powers

With Storm it's shown on panel to lag....with Mags it hasn't
