The difference is, is that in this situation where there is no plot devices that are driving the point of the story, he WOULD NOT drop his shields, making it even more easy for him to win this.

Mags is pretty cool, I was searching through my pile of comics books for more Emma Frost scans for the new respect thread I'm creating and I found out that his clothes are made of highly dense metal which can take beatings from Class 100 characters. I also found out that his body is full of electromagnetic energy which also allows him to take smacks to the face from Class 100 characters.(This is all without his shield)
Plus with all the wormholes and global strokes he can create it wouldn't be a suprise if he opened a worm hole to the sun and chuck Storm in it. But the easiest thing would be to give her a stroke.
