Who here wears glasses?

Also has anyone here had 'Laser Eye Surgery' done?

I'm thinking of getting my eyes 'fixed'....I'm sick to death of these stupid glasses...

I have glasses, gonna get contacts pretty soon.
Laser surgery is great, but not for everyone. You have to have thick Retnas or something.
Expensive too, about $1,200 per eyeball!
You can get 5 pairs of Versace frames for that! 😎

I have glasses.

The only thing I don't like about them is that they get dirty way too easy and then they get blurry when I try to clean them.

I'd like Laser Surgery or contacts.

Either one is better than having to take time out 5+ times a day to clean my glasses.

It costs about $2000 per eyeball here.

But to get rid of these damn glasses, it will be worth it.....hopefully.

I hate cleaning them! If you clean them with a regular cloth they get all blurry! You need to get some cleaning solution and a silk rag! I use my moms scarfs! 😈

Only if your retnas are too thin.
You have to be carefull where you go, cause they do it anywhere here, they have shops in malls where people walk by and watch you through the window getting it done. I would go to a more professional kind of place! No mall surgery for me!! How tacky!

how do you call those, the little hairs under your eyes?
well, if they grow wrong, you get them in your eyes, which can undo the whole operation

hey advertise it like crazy over here! They have laser eye surgery parties where you and your friends can get your eyes fixed, eat, drink and go shopping! 🙄

because those hairs grow wrong they get in your eyes and can get the whole operation undone because they scratch and fill up other scratches while blinking

Well cant your eyelashes just scratch and damage your eyes now? 🙄

your eyelashes can't because they are "aimed" upwards, away from your eyes

I do not wear glasses or contacts, however, I have seen documentation that shows the laser treatment has come along in leaps and bounds and is much better/safer than a few years ago, the success rate is a lot better too, but why would you consider it at the current costs, I think I'd wait a couple of years to see if the costs come down.

I have glasses. I started out with contacts, but I prefer the glasses now. No laser stuff for me, except in SW of course.

It doesn't hurt and the risks are low...so if you have the money might as well give it a go.
