Krona had the power of two universes in JLA/Avengers. Makes sense that he'd be able to trump the Gauntlet which is roughly Eternity level.

I call Old Seid when he was writtin back a few years ago, mega-skyfather level. Now (Normal) Which mostly anybody with Supes level could challenge, heck Doomsday challenge him and he was actually scared ( pale in comparison to what he was ).
