Together the steal an experimental space craft that creates its own worm holes to travel through space (and some have postulated even time itself) from The Organization (An evil Multi-system conglomerate).
This motley trio forms a group of do gooding mercenaries know as the Space Pirate Assassin Squad and travels the galaxy fighting The Man and other tyrranical powers, thwarting the plots of less scrupulous brigands, collecting space booty, and making out with purple chicks (arguably falls under 'space booty'😉.
