The ship btw is controvercial because of how it's drive works. There's concern among scintists that the Worm Holes, if they don't decay fast enough could cause the fabric of space time to deteriorate. However, if they decay too quickly, the amount of radiation they produce could have a serious effect on nearby star systems.
Currently, our little group has the only functioning drive of this kind. We stole the prototype and the plans as an act of good intentioned econo-terrorism aimed at destablizing a corrupt govenment/corporation.

You sure? We could use a guy with your kind of connections. Arcane does the sneaky stuff, PR's the muscle, and I'm ...I wouldn't say the brains, more like the insperation. I sort of see my purpose as keeping us just this side of the line between right and wrong.
But we really could use a skilled negotiator, you could be a huge asset getting us into places that explosives and air-vent acrobatics won't. Anyway, the offer's there man.

Sorry man, to an American Ireland = Shamrocks, Shilaghlis, and Leprechans. Option be seemed the least ridiculous for a ninja.
It always made me chuckle that Gunn was supposed to be a blunt instrament. It really ran counter to most of the stereo types. I think the only thing more flagrantly inapropriate would have been Fred.
