It has been awhile since I've posted. Finished shooting end of Sept., on budget, just came under $300,000. I beat Pearl by a $100,000. I had a great time making this movie, the cast and crew were amazing.Today I just finished the new teaser for Christmas and I think it's AWESOME! The trailer mixing Guru who does all the big summer movies turned to me and said with a little more ump - it was "****ing awesome".
I think some of my films have had good teasers but this one is just makes a statement. It's hard edged to show we are not a silly "toy" movie. We show just hints of robots - and almost none of our epic shots are in this teaser, but the movie just looks big. I had a room full of 20 Tranformers adult geeks, and they all applauded at the end.
It comes out the 22nd - see it in the theater! Let me know what you think.

and im sorry bay, but this: " I had a room full of 20 Tranformers adult geeks, and they all applauded at the end." means precisely jack shit. all you need to do is flash the autobot icon and geeks will squeel and cheer, as was proven by the teaser trailer. and...20? so were they.......friends? are we supposed to be like...OMG HIS HANDFULL OF NUTHUGGERS CLAPPED!!! THAT FRIKIN ROX!!!....um no

i so hope alot of this is left for the movie!!! i dont want alot ruining!! but i think i'm gonna stop coming to this thread cos alot of you guys are really!!!!!!!!!!!! stubborn and it annoys me when people cant be open minded.

should we squeel like giidy schoolgirls to make you happy? when i see so much as a hint that this will be 'the transformers' and not 'a bunch of big robots that transform' i will perhaps overlook bay's misdeeds in the film industry.
anyway, if you cant handle any opinions which counter yours than perhaps you should just seek refuge in the otf

look i totalyl understand everyones views but when it has been stated that it wont be based on anything previou and is to be a new thing then you inevitabley have to look at it differently and not endlessly compare it to the originals. If it was an adaption of them and it was done like it is being done i would be as pissed off as you. but it isn't.
the thing i dont like about Bay's transformers is their faces look weird, and all this "they are aliens and aliens look different(they either look like bugs or reptiles)" crap.
Well, transformers were probably created in God's image just as human beings, therefore, we both have similar features. except they are transformers...GO G1!!!!

The scorpinok sequence was...annoying but the tail thing was cool. Though I would of liked the have at least seen Megatron. Also the 'Robot Pilot' WTF ! The cool thing ABOUT TF is that their machines which can drive themselves...oy vey

This is coming to us from ILM, Steven Spielberg, and Michael Bay.
I was worried too at the leaked scripts and the character designs, but I know now that this film looks like one that will be awesome!

you're so right but I am not over keen on bay. however he does seem to come up with some sick chase sequences.
