I'm not boycotting the movie myself just a bunch of really die hard fans of the original.

This film is going to WTFpWn.

It may be a little cliched and silly in some points (boy meets car, gets girl, car turns into robot..... and the transformers hiding around his house so that the parents don't see them, etc....) but it's also going to have the ILM team making absolutely photo-realistic TRANSFORMING roboots that fight each other in down-town L.A.

Only Spiderman 3 has generated equal/more excitement for my summer film list.

And yeah, the crusading is getting kind of old right about now. It's not like it's gonna do anything to change the movie, so why bother? Most likely just people looking for something to complain about.

I'm a big fan of G1, but even I wouldn't put those designs in a movie like this(Too boxy). Though I have to say Megatron DEFINATELY needs his head(And perhaps his body, too) to be reworked. He looks more like a mechanical Creature from the Black Lagoon than a fearsome Decepticon. 🙄

actually, people should be happy about the designs. Because if you seen the ORIGINAL design for Optimus, IT IS AN OUTRAGE. thank god that the current one, as seen on Empire magazine cover somewhat reflects a subtle nod to the original and so on incarnations of Optimus.

and note the pic looks nothing like optimus probably cuz, Speilberg was like "well, its not really popular so scrap the g1, and make it cool...like, really cool" *sees bionicle commercial on tv*

To me this movie is going to be another example of people making movies without doing any research. And yet another reason why the fans should be making the movies or at the very least be consulted over movies of stories they hold dear.

They shot some of transformers the movie around my area here in new mexico at white sands it was cool and it's in one of trailer shots when humjmers flip.

i think the new designs and (the megatron) designs are slick and cool but the thing is they're just not the transformers...but i dont particularly like their faces at all, esp. metgatron and starscream, they look so, happy.

Well I have not seen the movie but i have seen the cartoon and I think it is dumb how hot rod aint in this one! Theirs no reason for him not to be is their?

I've lost a lot of interest about this movie
