Superman can defeat EVERY DBGT character...............combined

Only the spirit Bomb would be able to kill Darkseid and he'd reform immediately afterwards. Any other attack would barely phase Darkseid. He's taken the Astro force before which is leagues above any of Goku's normal attacks.

Darkseid could solo the Z fighters.

Like Superman Doomsday could be taken down by Goku. I give Goku 1/10. That one represents Goku firing a kamehameha with every drop of power he has. Although doomsday too has resisted the Astro Force so maybe that won't even work.

Goku has nothing in his arsernal that could stop Supes.

This both characters fighting in character but not afriad to kill (a death match) then I definatly give this to Superman. Here is my reason.

Goku at heart is a martial artist through and through. Knowing his personality and fighting preferences he will almost certainly start off the fight with an exchange of fists. Goku does not start off chargeing up planet destroying Kamehameha blasts left and right (he won't be able to do that many times as well), but instead like a real martial artist would. Even if he does start off with a planet destroying Kamehameha wave, Supes isn't the type that will just stand there and wait for Goku to throw that slow attack; it won't fase Supes anyways, this guy shruggs off planet destroying blasts like nothing (look at some recent issues).

Superman is more of a brawler type (yes he knows Martial Arts well, but he rarely has to use them). He will also start off with an exchange of fists, probably going in with a strong knock out punch. If his opponent is skilled enough though he will bust out some skilled martial arts if he really needs to though.

Ok, so its a pretty safe bet that given their personallities, 95% of the time they will start this fight useing purely physical fighting. Given that this is a serious death match, both characters should start out serious and not be holding much back. Superman, even with his mental block can easily throw around punches with the force of millions of tons. Goku has never shown even a fraction of the durability needed to take even a graze of one of these punches. If Goku tried to block one punch the bones in his arm would most likely shatter and he would be sent flying. Physical strength has never really been the strong point of DBZ fighters.

Also, it should be noted that it takes time for Goku to properly power up into his higher states. In a fight with Superman I highly doubt he would be given time to reach any level higher then SSJ2 if even that. Superman on the other hand is always at max power, all he has to do is use it when he wants to. Even if Goku does power up to his highest (ssj3), he's still not close to Superman physically and will be losing power fast as the match go on (even faster if he constantly uses KI blasts). And don't forget Supes have energy blasts also, which will kill Goku or any other DBZ character in an instant. Goku can't block or deflect a blasts that's hotter than stars or freeze Supes level beings.

So ya, over all I think Superman would win in a with Goku. Its really 1 punch and its over, Goku may be able to avoid getting hit for awhile with his expert martial arts skill against a Superman holding back, but once Supes stops and get serious, it's over for any of the DBZ characters.

darkseid and doomsday would be like slugs compared to gokus fighting speed. Are you guys on crack broly can beat any superman villain out there vegeta would kick black adams ass.

As I explained to you on the Hulk versus Superman thread, both Darkseid and Doomsday have superspeed in the same range as Superman himself. If anything they're both faster than Goku.

darkseid ,doomsday superspeed what have they ever done with speed that goku cant do better. Darkseid could never fight at the speed the dbz warriors have. The z fighters live and breathe fighting at superspeed there not like supes who just basically has it to get to to certain places fast.

Doomsday have Superspeed, it was stated atleast three times by Supes, by human people who couldn't keep up with their movements, by Booster Gold (who stated that Doomsday was faster than Flash, this is a weaker version of Flash btw, but still pretty fast), Maxima, and Blue Beattle.

Also Darkseid would just use the Omega Effect and wipe any DBZ character from existence.

A spirit bomb would be completely useless, since it only effects evil people.

Superman stood up to the Light of Heaven, which would have destroyed his soul if he had the smallest bit of evil in it.

Besides, it's not like he would wait around for 5 hours for Goku to power one up anyway.

You do realize that pretty much all of those showings have been retconned as avatars of Darkseid containing only a fraction of his power?

In fact it's even stated that the True Darkseid can't lose on the physical plane.

Except Superman can't be erased by the OE because he's a nexus being, as in protected by the Presence. Meanwhile Darkseid can mind**** people from light-years away, teleport across the universe instantly, send people to other dimensions, and erase them from existence.

Also no DBZ character has feats that put them anywhere near even Post - Crisis Superman. For example, when DBZ characters fight, unless they're purposefully trying to destroy the planet, they barely damage it and just create a bunch of craters. Meanwhile, when Superman was fighting Zod (under a red sun where he was weaker), they were tearing apart the planet by just fighting on it.

Actually there is basicly nothing anywhere that surpasses the durability of precrisis Superman. Every weakness he was supposed to have ended up being shown all but useless agasinst him.
