Ha! Not even close. You obviously weren't around for Evangel's tourney. The matches were supposed to last 1 day....yeah. 😐 But 2 weeks was probably on the shorter end for that tourney....it lasted forever. It was that tourney that makes me roll my eyes every time someone thinks we don't do a good job running things in the current tourneys.
In Evangel's defense, it's tough, and before that tourney we had basically nothing as a precedent to go off of...we were making the rules up as we went along. But it was still a logistical nightmare most of the time, and I think Nataku took over and conducted the last couple matches of the tourney.
So, how bout we figure out judges for the finals.
I was going to judge for the first time all tourney, and was planning on asking Tron to guest judge as well. That'll be 2/4 (if Tron agrees). And I'll probably recycle a judge or 2 from last week. Anyone judging this week can call it day now though, since I've avoided anyone judging back-to-back weeks.
But a premature thanks to anyone who has been a judge, and especially to Val and Scoob with their help early on. 🙂
Kahn goes back to school soon. If they win this round, we need to start wrapping this tourney up.
X and Val seem to be waiting each other out...at the expense of the participants. Leo apparently just PMd them, so I'll give them another day, then PM them again with a sterner demand on them getting their votes in.
They're both great guys, so I don't want to come off as being harsh to them. But something needs to be done.

The finals will start soon after a decision. I'd advise all 3 teams still alive to have at least rough strategies prepared.
