You had ample opportunity to try and get them changed. I don't remember you voicing significant opposition to said rules. Very few are "my" rules....I simply oversaw the process of rule-making that involved a lot of people of the past month or so.

That's probably because you haven't been involved in past tournaments, where battles with only 2 people would go 20+ pages. Make it 4, and you could be looking at battles way too long to read. We have judges who HAVE to read the battles. 30 pages is too much for them to have to sift through, many of whom have jobs and lives outside o KMC...and they're volunteering to be judges. The 9 post rule gives you ample opportunity to make your points, but also keeps the battles manageable.
And look at any real debate...they have a lot more limits than we have.
I don't mind being called an idiot...as a Mod I get a lot worse. But it's unfortunate that it seems like you have no idea why the rule was made in the first place, and without sufficient knowledge of the situation you decide to lash out at me just because you don't agree with 1 rule. If you have legitimate gripes with the rule, and can intelligently provide arguments against it, that's one thing. But simply bashing? Immature, to say the least.

Ok... If Accel doesn't show up on this thing by Wednesday, do I have to beat all 3 of DL's and SPH's characters with my character and the team character? If come Wednesday, and Accel hasn't posted yet, could I save a couple of my nine posts to post about Ronan? I'll be heading down to Vegas Wednesday night, so any feedback would be helpful. I would like to argue for Ronan but my hands seems to be tied with the no arguing for your team partner's character.

We might be able to postpone the next round a day or 2 so Accel can get back (I'm not sure how long he's gone). But I can't waver on the team thing. So sorry AW....you know I don't like being the bad guy, but this whole tourney revolves around that.
In the meantime, judges can still think about your 3rd person, but you're just handicapped with no real arguments for him.
