Anja shut her eyes as she walked briskly through the dank corridor. Thunder rumbled somewhere in the distance outside. This was very suprising. The winds of change had indeed arrived, it had not rained in forever. She hoped that channge would not overthrow her kind as well.
Her kind.
What was that? Her incurable disease? The curse that burdened her soul daily? So why had she taken such pride for it? Was this all for Dahni? These questions littered her mind, throwing her into an endless pit of abstract memories. It had been so long now, so very long scince she had spoken to a human without intensions of killing him. But then, isnt that what she needed? That was what must happen.
A sudden gutteral snarl projected from Akido rocked her thoughts, and the images in her mind dissipated. A mortal stood only yards away, alone in a shadowy region of the hall. Akido lunged forward, taking even Anja by suprise....This person was strong though. She stepped forward, completely masking her demonic aura and dug her nails into Akido's neck , pulling him to the ground. He stood planted now, just as any normal wolf would. She smiled at him for having complied to her wishes. A brilliant creature he was indeed. He even helped her along, acting the part. The demonic wolf was beggining to catch onto everything, and let his pink tongue loll, and relaxing his tensed muscles to seem at ease. Anja, who seemed completely human now did fine as well.
" Im sorry. "
She apologized, looking at Akido.
" He's a bit protective, but don't worry. He wouldnt hurt a fly....What, may i ask, brings you to a place like this? "

Kai looked at Anja "A job..." He said studying the woman "Hmm... Your face pale... I do not feel a human body temperature.. Your eyes dark... " He smirked and put his hand on his blades hilt, but not in a threatening way "Your a vampire... Those must have been... your blood hounds... My Name is Kai, The American Hunter.... Your name is?"
She smirked.
" I can assure you that your vague assumptions are wrong. Living in a place like this does that to you. As for the hounds? No, i only have one. "
She nodded to Akido. A job, eh? Funny. She was quite aggrivated at themoment. No regular human would've been able to tell that fast. Steadily lifting the golden dagger she had in her waist pocket of her trench, she flipped it, wrapping her thin fingers around it's leather handle. With prefect precision she slid it into her arm. When she lifted it again she glanced at Akido. The wolf nodded. He closed his sullen eyes, creating the imagery that had tricked so many before.
What this human should have seen was warm, crimson blood flowing down her arm as well as the dagger. After sliding it across her thin dress she tossed it to Kai.
" You will most likely need this more than I. As for my name? It's not important. "
That said she turned, Akido trailing her as she headed for stairs covered in pitch black. Finally reaching the tower she was ehading for she stepped into her room, pulling the door shut as the wolf walked in.
" Hn..."
Her eyes widened when she looked out the window. The male...she had forgotten about him. She could see him from her small window in the high tower.

Kai chuckled at what she said. False imagry was not new to him in the least. He had been hunting since he was sixteen, nothing surprised him anymore. He watched her walk away and he smirked "A vampiress.... and yet, she didnt attack knowing i could have at any moment.... im not that easy to read am i?" he smirked knowing his features give away his intentions. He only fights if someone is in danger, or he is doing his job. That vampiress seemed strange to think she could fool him, especially since her body heat was way too low. "Amazing ideas, and yet they fail." Kai smirked and started thiking if he should watch the vampiress. "She may be a threat... and she may be not..."
{ Omg..😖 lol } Anja stood agitatedly as soon as she sensed him approaching. What the hell did he want? Akido lowered his head, a silent attack forming in his mind. Anja stopped him, and slid into her bed, her hair fanned across her pillow. If he intended on entering he had another thing coming. She lifted her right arm, the cursed sin, and opened her clasped fist, five long sharp nails pointing towards the door. Slowly a trail of darkness unveiled itself, and consumed the door, then faded. In all of his 'skill' he should be able to sense that kind of warning from a mile away. She was to tired to kill right now. She had been chasing one of the hounds earlier and managed to lock him up, but the other three still roamed the castle.
Kai smirked. "She doesnt want me here... thats too bad..." Kai walked to the door and for his own safety stabbed the door with his enchanted sword, destroying the dark magicks upon it. He opened the door and smirked, looked at the hound "I mean no harm, but it is my duty to make sure you are not a threat to this mission. I have killed three hounds, i do not plan on making a mark on my vampire list right now." Kai smirked and threw his sword down the stairs. Leaving himself open for attack, but she should know he has more tricks than just a holy sword. not to mention the dagger she gave him. "I will leave as soon as i know who's side you're on, ma'am."
