Kai winced in a bit of pain and he pushed the ruby away "Im fine, i ormise.." He said, holding his chest slightly. He looked at the hound run off, leaving something. "The vampiress... gave me something?" he walked over to the small bottle. He lifted it and studied it. "May be poisen... but she didnt seem .... all that bad..." He shrugged and drank it. He felt his chest, lungs, and throat harden slightly, stopping the blood rush,. "She isnt bad, but... she works at dracula's whim.. i know it..."
Anja smirked and chuckled from the distant shadows. Akido looked up at her with emotionless eyes, hardened by hundreds of years of fighting. He detected the note of sadness in her husky feminine voice. Her head was rocked by different thoughts. Her suspicions had seemed to be painfully correct. Kai..this boy was related to him. Everything fit in a sickening perfection . Her dull laugh cut out, and she glared at the ground, her nimble fingers curled into a trembling fist. Akido's orbs widened to large pools of grey as he noticed the crystalic wetness slide to the ground. On single tear ran down her face, shining in the little light that peirced the darkness. It hit the ground with a miniscule splash. The last time a tear like this one was when he left. She was so young...so stupid. New to this world.
Anja's teeth tightened, her face contorted as she tried to hold back sobs. " Your...so ...pathetic..."
Her eyes were stinging with the pain of being kept open to prevent the tears. This did nothing. Silently they slid down her face, an endless river of incurable pain...but it was not because of him. It was her, her stupidity. Her gullibility.
" Anja....Where have you been? Ive been searching all over for you...!"
" Koru! Just tending to the garden! Syria and i were-mmmhh.."
" Heh. Whats wrong? You don't like it? "
" Y...your hurting me Koru...stop it! please...!"
The tears seemed endless. How could she have been so idiotic? And now...Finally she closed her eyes, the liquid form of pain still ravagin gher pale face. She smothered a sob by biting hard into her arm. The blood spilled forth from her punctured veigns and flowed down her arm, trembling she looked up. Blood trickled gently down her chin, like the rain that had begun now to trickle down the castles outer walls.
" You, Kai Lein , are no different then him...i know it. "
She whispered, turning. She dashed outdie, letting the rain pound on her frail body now weak fro the blood loss, still continuing down her arm. The rain drops mingled with her salty tears, and soaked her har, plastering it to her face. She looked up then, rain hydrating her deep eyes and just stood for a moment. Akido lifted his nose to the air and let out a loud, droning howl that peirced the sky over the sound of the heavily pounding rain.
Kai smirked as he looked at Syd "Yes actually, but being something that kills for food, i couldnt bear it. I suggest you ocntrol yourself or i may have to knock those fangs out" he said smiling. He looked at Sarah and pointed towards Dracula's Castle "We're going now." he said smiling and started walking. He got a cold shiver, meaning somebody said his name behind his back. "Hmm..." he thought. "Who in the world would talk about me....?" he shook his head as he thought and began walking again.
Rory and Alucard fought the skeletons and destroyed them with ease. There were only three and Alucard had faced them before.
- "Quite a pest" - Alucard said.
- "Tell me about it" - Rory said and looked back at the bridge, she saw Kai and Syd at first glance.
- "Good you made it! Come on!" - Rory called out to them.
==============
- "They are here maester Silvano" - a man in dark red robes said.
- "That was to be expected" - Silvano said and turned to a man in a heavy armor, he was at least 6'5 feet tall and really muscular, he carried a spiked maze - "Hunt them down but do not kill Alucard, him we will probably need if this one proves useless".
- "Yes maester" - the tall man said who's name was Korgan Scythe.
Alucard turned to Kai.
- "Good that you made it, did you have any complications along the way?" - Alucard asked.
Rory looked around to see if the skeletons didn't rise once more or the zombies came around.
- "From here on be on the lookout, I fear this is going to be much tougher than we thought which was already a lot" - Rory said.
