Not everyone agrees that he existed...and that question is about as pertinant as: Was Alliance a Liar, Lunatic, or lord?

Common Alliance, He is a Historical Fact 馃檨 Who cares if people believe He existed or not. Even the non-Christian historians wrote about Him in the first century. So it goes back too the same question:

Was Jesus a Liar, Lunatic or Lord?

People use that book a lot to prove he IS lord........But Jesus was only a man, if he did exist. However, the church made him lord if they'll only research the church doctrines.....They are published and called "The Original Documents of the Christian Church."....

I must say debbiejo, you appear to be very informed...I just question your source of information. 馃槷

Your spinning again debbiejo, the statement was that some didn't believe Jesus existed. And you and I know that is a futile argument. 馃ぃ

It has been found that references that Josephus allegedly made to Jesus were forgeries that were added some 300 years after the time of Jesus and Josephus.

The book was put out by the Oxford University Press and traces the roots with all documents and all denominations with all of their council meetings, Papal writings, from Catholicism to all of Protestantism, including Muslims.

Writings such as the Synod of Arles, Council of Orange, Eucharistic Doctrine, Tertullian, , Conciliar Movement, Scholasticism, Church in England until the Reformation, the Second Vatican Council, British churches in the Sevteenth Century..., Puritans,Presbterianism, Westminster Confession of Faith..blah blah blah......every document that had ever been published by any faith up to the year of about 1997.....

True...If you read through Josephus works you will see that the ONE paragraph breaks the flow of what he was describing at the time, which was the Jewish war....Now earlier copies don't have this paragraph in it...and the way it was written was as it was written by a christiian, which Josephus WAS NOT...He would of never call Jesus the Christ or anything of that nature........and if he did believe he was of some supernatural person, I'm sure he would of volumns on it....don't you think??

OH PLEASE. The only source in the world at the time Jesus lived that said he was the saviour was word of mouth.

I will stick with the Bible for my truth and accuracy.

"Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him"

Proverbs 30:5

Can I ask...what denomination are you........just curious??

Thats why you fail. The bible is only the word od god to those who believe he wrote it. There is no evidence your god wrote it. It is not viewed by scholars to be accurate. It is only infallible to fundamentalists such as yourself. Fundamentalist usually arent credible...many terrorists are fundamentalists (ETA, IRA, AlQueda).

You ignore every other source in the world...thats pretty blatant ignorance imo.

Protestant-

Faith in Jesus alone. Not by self effort but by Christ alone I am grateful and have been changed from an alcoholic/druggy to someone who loves people and is free from the lies and traps of the Devil.

Fair enough Alliance. But since we are on a Religion Thread, I will put my trust in my book called the bible. You place your trust where you wish sir.
